Pros: Stylish classy look, slim. Adjustable parametric EQ presets. Sturdy. Reliable Cons: Lack in bass frequencies and a few other cons.. read up!
A few weeks ago I bought a Sony D-NE900. Do I need to mention I am very picky when it comes to sound quality and features on a cd/mp3 player? Just read my previous reviews and you will understand! This CD/MP3 player is very appealing to the eyes; ...
Pros: Customizable Equalizer, presets, requires only ONE AA battery. Battery life. Cons: Small plastic unreliable buttons. Too light and plastic.
On my quest to find the perfect CD/MP3 player I had the chance to try out a SONY D-NE500. Since I haven't found a review on that product here in Epinions, I thought I'd write one, even if I do not own that particular product but a very similar one; the ...
Pros: Wheel/joystick interface, equaliser, CD/RW, MP3 playback, CD Text support. Cons: Weak output, poor battery lid design, won't save any settings except EQ when battery replaced.
The Sony D-NE500 would've been a truly good player if it wasn't for Sony's conservatism and somewhat careless treatment of features. The user interface is decent, it has the typical Sony joystick/scroll wheel that are common for professional-line Sony ...
Pros: size, durability, sound, features Cons: price, sound (eq), software
Review of Sony DNE-900 I was unable to find many reviews of this player, so am writing this in the hope it may assist someone out there. Theres an interesting review by Chiminou floating about, worth reading if you can find it. As a ...
Pros: 60 hour battery life from one battery!
Four line dot matrix display
Great sounding Atrac3Plus Cons: Remote control does not have a LCD display
No output connections for stereo or MD
I recently bought the D-NE500 as a cheep replacement to my older early model Minidisc player which is very out of date at this time. My first impression was that it looks and feel a lot nicer than older Sony CD Walkman models that used to sell at or ...
Pros: Excellent compression technology, great storage capacity, very low power usage with 1AA battery Cons: Menu is awkward, buttons are somewhat small, keep track of which discs are ATRAC3
I am an audiophile, and I invest quite some time in transferring music from vinyl LP to MP3, so sound quality is very important to me. For awhile, I have been using a little MP3 player for on the go music, but only playing with 64MB makes this a chore, ...
Sony made the original Walkman and still makes the best by sharona68 ,Jan 20 '06
Pros: Sounds & operates great (although I don't use the headphones provided). Cons: Traversing the Atrac folders is a bit confusing.
This is a great MP3 disk player. After putting up for 1 1/2 years with a Phillips Expanium that skipped anytime I walked with it, I bought this Sony in Dec. 04. Very good skip protection - I can even walk rapidly with it in my coat pocket and it still rarely skips. The Atrac function (although I realize it will lock me into Sony for the rest of my life if I want to hear the disks I've made in this format) is great as it allows you to create folders, for example to organize the entire career output of a single band. Hold and volume buttons are easy to find and control when player is in your pocket or bag. There are several pre-set equalizing positions to choose from, but I always use the custom option. Battery storage is inside, beneath the disk, so no worries about the latch ever failing and having to be scotch-taped on when the unit gets old (we've all done that, right?) I'm very happy with this player!
Pros: Sound quality and price! Cons: Plastic body and unique button system
This is one of the best CD/MP3 players I've ever owned! The only draw back in the plastic casing and unique buttons. The rest is fantastic. I listen to a lot of types of music, and this things sounds great! Even with the headphones that came with it. I do use the Sony MDR-V150 headphones and it sounds even better. Not only can you record a TON of songs to one CD using their software, you can play any other CD or CD-R(W) as well. I bought this at Wal-Mart new in the case for $59.00 dollars. It retails for $90 smacks. The carrying case is great and the remote is easy to use. This would be a great purchase.
