Pros: Rich, creamy, smooth texture and delightful taste
    Cons: None

Summary: I love Hummus. The first time I ever tried it was in Israel years ago… one taste and I was hooked. I ate it every chance I could, dipping it in the homemade Pita bread it was served with it was a super special treat. When I returned home I even ... read more

Pros: Delicious with everything or on its own.
    Cons: Can be addicting.

Summary: I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that until recently our house, the five food groups have been frozen pizza, T.G.I. Friday's Appetizers, hot dogs, bagels, and Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus.  We have recently embarked on a plan to cook more ... read more

Cons: A little too smooth in consistency and I would have liked a stronger flavor.

Summary: I love spicy hummus and I usually buy Tribe brand, but I had a coupon for Sabra and it was on sale.  Their radio commercial with the "Mediterranean guy" describing how wonderful the hummus tastes is an effective piece of advertising ... read more

Cons: It is an acquired taste

Summary: I’ll readily admit the name hummus or the look of it is not very appealing, but once you get past that the taste is phenomenal! It took me years to try it and now it’s part of regimen of foods! Hummus is simply finely ground, (almost like peanut butter ... read more

  • Hummus among us

    Pros: "richer, smoother, tastier"
Cons: price, but worth every penny

Summary: I love the hummus I get at the Lebanese restaurants and tried very hard for a long time to duplicate that same experience at home. I tried many prepared brands of hummus, box hummus, and made it myself with several recipes. I never got that rich taste ... read more
