Pros: Fast, great tasting, flexible, easy to use, Ultimately cheaper than a daily Starbucks. Cons: Big, Mostly plastic, Just over $500.
Intro Why buy a fully automatic coffee machine? This is a question I had to answer both to myself and to my wife, and you may be asking the same thing. Now back in England I was brought up with Instant Coffee, Nescafe to be exact and I ...
Pros: Great coffee/espresso/cappuccino, instantly, 24x7. Reliable. Great conversation piece. Cons: Grinder is loud.
This is a Feb. 2006 update. I reviewed this machine shortly after buying it in 2001, and again in May 2003. It's still an excellent machine; I downgraded it to four stars only because Saeco's parent company is now selling a virtually identical unit ...
Pros: convenience, quick&easy to use, consistent results for our tastes, easy to maintain, good bang for the buck Cons: minor:small water tank, plastic construction
Okay this is a review from a local coffee shop/Starbucks junkie. I love to try the exotic blends, espresso and coffee drinks hot and cold.So I may not be and expert but I do love coffee. After reading lots of reviews;there are pluses and minuses to all ...
Pros: A perfectly fresh brewed cup every time. Cons: A bit loud and small water reservoir.
I fell in love with the Saeco Vienna when my mother bought her first one. Then she gave me her old one and bought a new one. After two years of steady use, it still grinds the beans fresh for each cup without problems and I love being able to select what ...
Pros: Consistent crema and very good coffee. Like the double dose feature. Cons: Plastic construction, small water reservoir, large physical size, noisy.
Bought the machine NIB on EBay and got a good price. I really wanted a few more features (like a bypass for pre-ground coffee or a warmer) but couldn't justify the increased price to all the non-coffee drinkers in the house. The machine couldn't be ...
Pros: Easy to operate, clean and use! Cons: no bean bypass for decaf,
This machine has been in the Saeco line for a couple of years already and is the workhorse of the line. I am on my 3rd machine, since friends have hounded me for mine, and this have me an opportunity to sell them my machines and get a new one each time! ...
Pros: Best cup of coffee you'll ever have. Cons: Frothing wand is useless.
I bought one of these units in December of 2003 after researching it heavily on the internet. To date, I’m very pleased with its performance. The superautomatic functions basically as follows: it starts out with unground beans and water. In ...
Pros: produces wonderful espresso, lattes, cafe cremas, and cappuccinos Cons: pricier than non-automatics
I've owned this machine about two weeks. From day one I've been able to produce coffee drinks to rival those served at the best espresso bars in Italy, and coffee houses here in the US. Because this is a super-automatic machine, with only the touch of a...
Pros: Love it! Buy It! Easy to Use! No trips to Starbucks! Cons: Wish it came with a frothing mug and other accesories.
WOW! If this is an entry level cap maker...I am impressed! I have had it for over 2 months, used it daily and TOTALLY love it! Easy to use. Easy to clean. I haven't been to Starbucks more than 3 times...and that was because I was away from my ...
Pros: Good print quality, fast, does many things, good HP support Cons: Highly bloated software, Couldn't get it to work.
I wanted a printer that could Scan, Print, Copy, and Fax. The good news is that this printer DOES that... The bad news is that I could never get the software to work effectively. The software is BLOATED - installing it at normal speed takes a ...
Pros: Excellent coffee and froth when it works Cons: Made out of plastic. Very weak
I have owned this machine for about 2 years. The first six months that I owned this machine it worked great. It made excellent froth and excellent coffee. After that it has been repair after repair. Repairs are very lengthy and expensive. Each repair averages over one hundred dollars.
Repairs are very lengthy due to the delay in Saecco responding and sending parts. Their customer service never responds and if they do is about a month later. This machine is mostly made of plastic parts that break on their own very easy. This machine only got light use from me, as it wasn't every day that I used it.
Saeco Good for only Six Cups of Expresso by weinerz49 ,Apr 27 '04
Pros: The coffee tasted wonderful. We forgot about and did not use our old drip machine. Cons: Volpe's--poor customer service. Need a 30 day refund like wholelattelove. Saeco Warranty work slow.
I purchased a brand new Saeco Vienna Deluxe from Volpe's
in February because they had competitive prices. After,
only 3 days use and six cups of coffee, the machine malfunctioned. Volpe's said they could do nothing we had to
go to the Company Saeco. Saeco paid for shipping our machine back (nice touch--but we fought them to do this) and
today I am told a part (PC Board) will not be in until mid June. So the earliest we can expect the machine back is July--for a new machine we bought in February!
Very nice Automatic Espresso by riverick ,Jan 14 '07
Pros: Fully Automatic, makes great espressos, lattes and capuccinos, as well as cafe americanos. Cons: A Bit noisy and very "plastic", but looks good and works very well. I recomend
Love the features, worth every cent
I got it in costco for about $400. I was not sure if spending this much money on a coffe machine was worth it, but I do enjoy strong full flavored coffee and I decided to give it a try. Its really good and you will love it.
My inlaws came to visit and ended up buying one for themselves. It only requires to put beans, water and plug it in.
One of the best purchases I've ever made by scarletempress ,Dec 04 '07
Pros: Simple and reliable, excellent espresso results Cons: Basic machine; only one coffee bean chamber, so no bypass for decaf
Makes really good espresso with fine crema at the touch of a button.
I've had this machine for over eight years, use it several times a day and it's still going strong; it has never once needed to be serviced. Maintenance is minimal and cleaning is easy.
It's simple, with fewer selection options than more expensive machines (e.g. for amount of coffee/ size of cup), and only one chamber for coffee beans, so you can't fill it with both regular and decaf beans at the same time alternately to brew different types of coffee by the cup, but it does what it does reliably and well.
Poorly made and engineered by reattaman ,Jan 17 '06
Pros: No pros at all Cons: Poorly made, plastic junk, constantly breaking down
I now have had two of this model since Christmas (total of 3 weeks). It broke down again and I am returning it and buying another brand. It is poorly constructed (all plastic), badly engineered (bad fitting parts), noisy, and just a piece of junk.
