Pros: Inexpensive, very glassy and shiny, smells minty Cons: Doesn't plump lips much at all, makes lips feel cold, sticky
As I mentioned in several other reviews, I went on a Sally Hansen binge recently. I liked the look of their lip products and the prices were excellent for what I was supposed to get. Some were decent, many failed to deliver. They do have a 100% money ...
Pros: glossy, provides temporary pinkness and full look. Cons: tastes awful, drying, short term effects, thick and sticky.
I have tried many, many lip plumpers over the years, and recently decided to add a cheapie to my collection, Sally Hansen Lip Inflation Plumping Treatment. More about Sally Hansen Lip Inflation Plumping Treatment This product is ...
Pros: Amazing shine for that “glassy” look. Cons: Doesn’t produce any “plumping” effect; is quite sticky.
Seeking a way to make my average lips look lusciously inviting, I tried this product on a whim. At $7.97 Canadian (roughly $6.90 US), it was not terribly expensive. The packaging was full of promise; the lips on the front certainly look plump and juicy. ...
Pros: nice texture, good colors, cheap, very glossy Cons: doesn't plump that much, doesn't last long
I had never heard about Sally Hansen Lip Inflation until one day when I was walking through the makeup aisle at CVS. I had only tried one lip plumper before, and it had made my lips tingle and burn like crazy. Surprisingly, I actually loved the ...
Pros: Inexpensive, great choice of colors, nice smell, and it really inflated my lips. Cons: Thick, sticky, difficult to apply with other color, and it comes off easily.
I have a love hate relationship with this product. Like the other reviewer, I eagerly ripped into the packaging hoping to suddenly have pouty, full lips. I wasn't disappointed with the result. My very average, but curvy lips were transformed instantly ...
Pros: Shiny! Cons: Tastes bad, doesn't do what it says.
My thin lips have always bothered me, but I was never willing to shell out the dough to pump 'em up. Until I spotted this inexpensive product at Target one day. The Package and Application This product comes in a clear rectangular tube with a ...
Pros: plumps, flushes lips, feels minty fresh Cons: The taste of it is not exactly great, kind of thick when applied heavily
Recommendation: I would recommend this product for people with average, pale lips. I'm sure everyone may see results, but I have pretty average lips and they felt really big after using it. Thin lips may work as good, but I dont think they would get very ...
You get what you pay for! by randomgirl ,Oct 10 '06
Pros: good for the price Cons: slightly thick and sticky
I was reluctant to try any of the lip plumper's available. After I read many reviews and compared prices, I tried Sally Hanson's Lip Inflation before any other because the price was attractive and they guaranteed the product, so if you don't like it they will issue a refund if you mail the UPC and receipt. Well to say the least you get what you pay for! This stuff was good for the price, not what I expected but it did make my lips a little fuller. I have since tried a few of the brands available through Victoria's Secret and they are quite a bit more expensive, however they do work well! So if you just want to get slightly fuller lips Sally Hanson's the way to go, but if you are expecting a big difference in the fullness of your lips, spend the extra cash!

Pros: I felt my old senior-aged lips did look fuller temporarily. Cons: I didn't like the drying, burning sensation.
Having no previous experience with lip plumpers, I had no basis of comparison. It was glossy and I thought my lips looked fuller for the duration it stayed on. I didn't like the menthol's uncomfortable tingling sensation, and my lips felt extra dryer by day's end. Perhaps I applied it further than necessary on the inner part of my lips because my gums around my lips also were uncomfortably affected. I don't know what ingredient caused the adverse drying, mentholated burning effects, but it was (still is a week later) unpleasant enough that in the future I will look for a plumper with different ingredients.
Pros: He will notice the smell when you get in the car. Cons: Not strong enough to "plump" lips like you're hoping for, great as typical gloss
I got the light pink shade, and used it as my summer shade. It made lips look slightly fuller, but nothing extreme. I like the minty smell and the fact that it's thicker because I wouldn't like it to have a thin consistency anyways, because then it wouldn't stick around. Also, it never says the lip gloss is flavored, so I'm not sure what others were expecting, but at least its got a minty smell to it, which is better than someone catching a wiff of stinkin' breath.
Excellent for times when you have a tan going on, cause it definately heightens that fresh light summer look. And it's better than going bare.
Doesn't work at all...not even a good lip gloss! by shaylene67 ,Dec 26 '07
Pros: It's cheap. Cons: Makes lips feel cold, doesn't plump, too sticky, too thick and clumpy, ugly colors.
Not only does this product not plump at all, it wouldn't even make a good regular lip gloss. It makes your lips feel very cold and is way too sticky and thick. The colors are very ugly, especially the darker ones. I didn't like this product at all.
Pros: Made my lips bigger, poutier, and was definitely glossy! Like glass. Cons: Great for the club or flashy fęte - otherwise, not worth the effort.
I purchased the clear variety. Considering it's coming from a drug-store brand, it's decent. It's cheap and it really does make your lips fuller. The cool mentholated feeling didn't bother me at all, but I wouldn't recommend this product because it rubs off on EVERYTHING.
I once made the mistake of leaving it on before eating dinner. It rubbed off and left my throat with a strange, uncomfortable tingly sensation, similar to a strong cough drop. Perhaps I could recommend this to an individual suffering from the common cold?
