  • Love these skates!

Pros: Excellent fit for wider feet, and easy break in.
Cons: Some say tech support, but they're skates not computers!

Summary: I have played hockey for the last 28 years and over the years I have gone through a few pairs of skates that range from my plastic molded Langes way back in the 70's, to my last pair which were Graf 609 Supra's. I bought the graf's after 2 pairs of CCM ... read more

Pros: Stiff, good quality, durable boot. t-blades: great performance. Lower cost skates.
Cons: Only for a specific foot type, t-blades runners did not stay sharp, no aftermarket support

Summary: My quest for comfortable hockey skates has been a long one. As a recreational hockey player (playing almost two years), my skates - CCM 652P Tacks - were simply not comfortable. My feet are unusually wide, and it was a wonder why I wasn't ... read more

Pros: Low price. Very comfortable. T-blades (or something just like them) will be the future.
Cons: Not for narrow foot or low arch. Sit lower in the heel than my Bauers.

Summary: Just got a pair of Salming F1's. Played hockey in my Bauer Composites (TUUK + holder), then put on the Salmings and skated around. First fit impression. More arch support, wider, and more comfortable than my Bauers. The Bauers are size 7.5, ... read more

  • Salming F1 Pro Skates . . . what's a Salming?

Rated a Very Helpful Review by the Epinions community

    Pros: Light, comfortable, Pro-level skates
Cons: Too wide for some feet

Summary: Free Stuff? One of the perks of being a highly accomplished reviewer is that people give you free stuff all the time. Well, that’s what I’ve heard anyway. For me, an email from the Salming rep asking if I might consider reviewing some of ... read more
