I found this brew in an upscale grocery store for $8.49 a six pack, my wife suggested I try it. Well to date that is the most I've paid for a six pack, but this might be my favorite lager. This beer pours very dark brown with a nice head and looks really beautiful in a glass. It tastes lighter than it looks with a somewhat light chocolate malty flavor. I've drank the first four bottles of my six, but I'm holding back to drink the last two on my birthday next week, I think that highly of this Black Lager.
