Cons: No HDMI cable (BD-C5500); a few playback issues.

Pros: Works great as a Blu-Ray player, and adds a lot of media center functionality
Cons: Only a few useful internet apps, some bugs, questionable reliability

Summary: The Samsung BD-C5500 is an inexpensive Blu-Ray disc player first introduced early in 2010. In addition to playing Blu-Ray discs, DVDs and CDs, it functions as a media center which has the "big 3" features found in dedicated media players: - ... read more

Cons: It often doesn't work, or works in unexpected ways.

Summary: I bought the Samsumg BD-C5500 to replace my DVD player and because I wanted to get NetFlix off the Wii.  While I liked the product in general, the poor programming has nearly ruined the experience to the point that I wanted to get rid of ... read more

Pros: price, internet features, picture quality.
Cons: media streaming, audio options, build quality, remote.

Summary: I bought this Samsung Blu Ray player on a whim - I simply couldn't resist the price, $84 brand new at Walmart. I didn't particularly need a Blu Ray player because I think Blu Rays are still way too expensive and quite frankly I am satisfied with DVD ... read more
