Is It Bad To Already Be Thinking Of Getting Another Phone?

by Shaunpm60 , Sep 08 '09
Pros: Vibrant screen, supports MicroSD cards. Form factor does look nice.
Cons: Awful battery life, limited options on music playback, construction is a bit iffy.
A few months ago I wanted to upgrade my phone. My last one was the cheap LG Flare from Virgin Mobile, which was fine for calls, but as far as texting and media features go, it was lacking. OF course, if I wanted a better phone, I had to go out of Virgin ...

Not quite a real blast

by ashengrey , May 22 '08
Pros: Lightweight, decent battery life, good reception
Cons: nearly-useless email feature, very weak browser, difficult keypad
I purchased this phone because I wanted an inexpensive email-capable phone that could play music. According to the T-Mobile website, the Samsung Blast was allegedly e-mail capable and DRM capable. The phone did not live up to my expectations, however. ...

I do not recommend to buy the Samsug Blast

by delporto , Aug 24 '09
Pros: Light weight. Thin. Good sized screen. Music player. Qwerty keyboard.
Cons: Battery life is short. Text memory small. No headphone jack. Music speaker quiet.
I have had this phone for about a year now, (Samsung Blast) and have gone through three of these phones. The first one the top right buttons would rarely work. The second phone the camera would only take night vision like pictures. The third phone the ...

Not so happy after 4 blasts....
by raeaela ,Oct 07 '08
Pros: Qwerty makes typing fast, good camera w/mirror, charges quickly, easy navigation.
Cons: Cannot find network, calls go directly to voicemail without showing missed calls, poor battery life.

This is a great phone if you want something inexpensive and basic.
Unfortunatly i bought it when it first came out, and wanted a great phone. And i am now on my 4th warrenty phone. Not to be confused with insurance replaced phone. This phone has a one year warrently on manufacture defects.
Phone#1 never connected to tzones or added fav 5. (traded in store same day)
Phone#2 after 4 months-would turn off on its own (even in locked status) and the type would randomly turn to wingdings-even more so if the battery wasnt charged daily.
Phone#3 after under 2 months-couldnt find tower -constantly showed "searching" even if i had two bars. Also calls would go immediatly to voicemail and never show up as missed calls. Texts couldnt be sent or recieved.
Phone#4 from day one would do exactly the same as phone #3. Ive had that phone 3 days now and TMobile has offered to exchange a 5th phone since im past some sort of 90 day exchange for new phone policy.
haha. not going to happen. im definitly buying a different phone!

It's A Blast To Charge
by willylunsford ,Jan 30 '09
Pros: Easy to text with; lightweight, nice features
Cons: Horrible battery life
The phone is decent.  I is great for texting and hasn't broken on me yet but the battery life is horrible.  I can barely use it for 1 day without the battery dying.  I average about 20 minutes a day talk time and 1 - 2 text messages per day so i know it's not my usage sucking up the juice.  Not sure if I got a bad phone or they just gobble up battery.
