Samsung 244T 24 in. TV

Pros: Size, resolution, style, brightness, contrast ratio, pivot, video response, ergonomics, internal PSU
Cons: slightly expensive, 100W power consumption, extreme brightness difficult in dim environment

LCD screens have come a long way from small, exotic and expensive to large, common and relatively cheap. Quality improved almost at the same pace as prices tumbled. In fact, a 24 inch monitor with the qualities of the 244T would have easily exceeded $10k ...

Pros: Bright, crisp picture. Fast pixel response rate. Games and DVD movies look great
Cons: A little pricey

Cons: Not good.

I wrote my personal impression about Samsung 244T.
I read about it in a local Benchmark press test.They said
that is perfect monitor.Bright picture Sharp image Vivid colors ,Fast for games.
It was tested on RADEON X1900XTX.Then I went to the shop to ask them to open this ("fantastic" monitor).
So monitor cost 1500 euro,with professional characteristic (and two dead pixels).
Then in a shop they opened box with monitor for me because I was persisting.
They connected it on integrated video card but resolution was
1900x1440.Then I put on resolution 1600x1200.
Then I saw that I wrote in my previous comment.
I had Sony SDM S 204B.This is vivid colors.This is sharp image.This is Crisp crystal clear picture.
My first interest is BEAUTIFUL picture.Then after that we can talk about response time and ghosting and etc.etc.BLA BLA.
Give me beautiful icons and soft(but sharp text) almost
3D impression because of strong deep vivid colors.
That is Sony.MONITOR.
Samsung look like only big television.Not professional monitor.Dot 0.27 is big and smooth lines are jagged.
Anyway maybe my impression is because of bad graphic card.I don't know.But I know if Sony ask more money(plenty more),
I will give them.
