Pros: tiny, great reception, easy to use, easy to charge Cons: don't lose the carrying case because it doubles as the charger!
Samsung WEP200 wireless Bluetooth headset I have been lazy over the years when it comes to converting to newer technologies. I like to keep it simple and have resisted the Bluetooth technology for fear of it being too complicated for me. It ...
Pros: Small, effective, light and rechargable. Cons: Maybe a bit too easy to misplace!
For many years, I resisted the idea of a cell phone that did anything but make and receive calls. These days, it has become literally impossible to find such a basic phone, so I shopped for features I could really use. Being a long-range commuter, I ...
Pros: Small and light, secure fit in ear, easy to use, good clarity and range. Cons: Multi-function button is overloaded with functions, no on-off switch. Can not charge with hook attached.
I have never been impressed with bluetooth since the day it came out. Every single bluetooth dongle, phone and other bluetooth accessories I have bought and tried to use have been nothing but trouble for me. They would either not work or work ...
Pros: Great design and easy operation. Cons: Just didn't do it's job.
I purchased the Samsung WEP200 bluetooth headset to make my life easier and safer, but instead I found myself spending a lot of time making sure the thing would be effective even for the basics. I purchased the headset from an auction site and upon ...
Size and style Cons: I don't know how comfortable the over ear hook will be. Other than that, none.
This headset is wonderful. The sound quality on my end and on my interlocutor's (the person I'm calling) end is phenomenal. No one so far has been able to tell that I'm not using the cell phone handset itself. I LOVE IT. Tech details: ...
Pros: Lightweight - 9 ounces Cons: None - just don't lose it as it is tiny.
I have a pretty busy life (don't we all?) I have a Blackberry 8700C which I use a lot for both work and personal calls. The plan I have is nationwide through Sprint. I love my Blackberry, it gets great reception, is convenient to use and fits neatly ...
I have gone through several headsets in search of the ideal solution. My requirements were that it stays comfortably in my problematic ear, have clear sound, not look too stupid, and stay in my ear. (Yes, it is that important) There is ...
Pros: Secure, comfortable fit. Light weight. Good reception. Clear sound. Nice case/charger. Simple controls. Cons: Lower battery life compared to other models (4 hrs talk).
I am fairly new to Bluetooth headsets, as I recently acquired my first Bluetooth phone. I have tried two headsets, with the Samsung WEP200 being my second. My first attempt was with the Motorola H500, which I returned due to the looseness on the ear, and ...
Pros: Comfortable, lightweight, good sound, rechargable, price (can be purchased and shipped for under $27) Cons: None yet.
I lost my first bluetooth (an "over the ear" Motorola 300) because I kept taking it off because my ear would start hurting after only 15 minutes of wearing it. So, I started looking for a new bluetooth that I could actually wear for extended periods of ...
Excellent Sound Quality, Questionable Ear Fit by ncgarya ,Dec 20 '06
Pros: Amazingly small, very good sound and wireless quality. Cons: Poor ear fit and troublesome combination carrying case/charger.
I have been using this headset for about two weeks and find the sound quality (inbound and outbound) to be excellent. I wear the headset in my left ear and keep my phone on my right side in a belt holster and have no static problems. I wish I did not have to always keep the carrying case with me for charging the device, but it is a clever idea. I have tried all three of the included ear inserts and have had only mixed results. It constantly feels like the headset is going to fall out of my ear.
Tiny Unit with Great Sound by hdtravel ,Jan 20 '07
Pros: Tiny, low priced, great sound, light weight Cons: Charging system is strange. Uses a little storage box.
I have tried several bluetooth headsets and this one is very low priced at only $40.00, tiny and works very well.
The unit paired easily with my Nokia e61 and Nokia 6133 as well as my Apple PowerBook laptop.
Sound quality is full, loud and callers are easy to hear.
The unit fits in my ear well and holds in without any ear-loop or other devices. I got the unit in white and it looks good. It is so small and light you hardly know at all that it is in your ear.
Pros: Small, lightweight, case doubles as charger, recommended by Consumer Reports. Cons: Shiny finish shows finger smudges.
I was initially hesitant about buying a bluetooth mainly because most of the ones I've seen are large and make you look like a Star Trek dork. Fortunately,Samsung's WEP-200 is small, lightweight and barely noticeable.I have it paired with a Samsung t619 and the sound is crisp and clear and plenty loud.Mine came with the ear hook along with 2 additional ear buds. The travel case doubles as the charger which I find to be a nice feature.I also tried the bluetooth with my wife's RAZR and it worked and sounded great.Consumer Reports recently rated bluetooth headsets in their Jan.2007 issue and they chose the Samsung WEP-200 as their "top choice overall".The only complaint is that the glossy black finish tends to show finger smudges,of course most people shouldn't notice this unless they're right in your face.
Pros: size and volume Cons: takes a little practice to fit
For those who are having trouble keeping the wep200 in your ear, rotate the rubber ear piece until it is at a 45 degree angle. Keep experimenting rotating it downward. The circle hook should point left for the left ear and right for the right ear. I was ready to return it as I could not keep it in my ear when I studied how is sat in my ear. It now stays in. Yay! I guess my ears are shaped wierd. Hope it works for you, too!
Pros: inexpensive. decent sound quality. small. Cons: bad charger.
I got one of these and it works well with the lg vx8100 especially with its voice dial. Sound was not bad, though could have been louder. it was hard for anyone i called to hear me when i'm in a car or if there's lots of ambient noise. bt signal fairly strong. charger box a good idea but the interface for the power plug is on a circuit board that is easy to break. maybe i was unlucky but mine had intermittant power when charging so i took it apart and had to resolder the connection of the plug to the circiut board.
Everything I ever wanted in a bluetooth headset! by seashadow80 ,Jul 08 '07
Pros: Tiny, excellent sound quality, looks sexy Cons: I'm afraid I will lose it.
After reviewing 5 different bluetooth headsets, I decided I'd give this one a try. I was looking for one without a hook because I wear glasses. It's annoying having 2 different things wrapped around the ear. Anyway, luckily I tried this headset out first because I love it! When I tell the people I'm talking to them over the headset they don't believe me. It sounds so clear, they just think I'm talking to them over the phone. I like the fact that I have to charge it in a box. That way it's easier to find and is protected while charging.
