Pros: Achieves excellent results. Intelligently designed and user-friendly controls. "Direct Drive" motor. Oozes quality. Cons: No incorporated lint filter. Storage pedestals available at significant additional cost.
Summary: The two things I require from a major appliance are dependability and ease-of-use. Okay… it also helps if it looks nice in my new home. With the Whirlpoolization of quality American brands such as Maytag, consideration of foreign-built ... read more

Pros: NONE Cons: Two hours per load to NOT get my clothes clean.
Summary: I insisted on buying this beautiful washer for our new house, over my husband's objections. Fortunately he did not say "I told you so." The clothes smell worse after washing. Imagine an old, wet towel that lay in the bottom of a ... read more

Pros: Front load save space. Cons: Does not clean clothes at all, they smell much worse than before the "wash".
Summary: This washer does not clean clothes at all, it actually makes them smell worse than ever! Another reviewer mentioned that it's like washing your clothes in a bucket of dirty water, which I completely agree. I would even add OLD dirty water. I ... read more

Pros: efficient, super cleaning, non-vibrating, SilverCare Cons: long wash cycles
Summary: This is my third front loader washing machine. The first was good enough, the second was awful, but this one is amazing! This is by far the best washing machine I have ever owned. I know it must be wrong to love an inanimate object as much as I ... read more

Pros: No maintenance required - no filters to drain or clean.
Delicate cycle is excellent. Cons: None that I could find.
Summary: I bought this Samsung WF328AAW SilverCare VRT washer to replace the LG Tromm (which I HATED since it made all our laundry stink). Due to my problems with the LG front loader, I questioned the sales guy carefully to make sure that a) I was not going to ... read more

Pros: Very clean clothes. Lots of useful cycles to chose from. Quiet. Cons: Long cycles (but the clothes are really clean!).
Summary: My dependable fifteen year old Maytag bit the dust so I had to make a decision. I knew a lot of people were buying front loaders, but I wasn't sure about buying a front loader verses the top loader. After reading different reviews I ... read more

Pros: Lots of terrific options for customizing your loads...towels and bedding have their own preset cycle! Cons: Wash time is definitely longer than with a top loading machine
Summary: After my top loader died at the 5 year mark, I decided to get a front loading washer. After doing some research and price comparisons, I chose the Samsung WF328AA and the matching dryer. Wow, what a difference. Not only are they ... read more

Pros: Very energy efficient. Has 12 wash cycles and 7 wash options. Cons: Sometimes gets out of balance which is normal for all washers.
Summary: I bought this washer on 11/27/2007. I always wanted a front loader because they are very well known for their energy and water efficiency. I bought this model because it had some great reviews by other sources. I wanted to wait several ... read more

Pros: The Silvercare feature really does seem to get out odors. Cons: Ruining towels and clothes. Shakes. Samsung customer "service" was disappointing.
Summary: We bought the Silvercare (releases silver ions into the water to disinfect and deodorize) version of this washer and a matching dryer about two months ago, and have had nothing but problems. The first washer was replaced because it shook like mad on the ... read more

Pros: Washes clothes well. Cons: JUNK!
Summary: Don't buy this washer!! I have had it only 2 years and have had to have it serviced 3 times already! The first time was under warranty (only 1 year parts & labor), but after that no warranty! Costing me $$$. Now the pump needs

Pros: Effective, efficient and reliable. Very Very quiet--Smooth VRT. Cons: I can't think of anything negative.
Summary: I purchased my Samsung 328 washer from Sears June 08 and have enjoyed it ever since. Newbies to front loaders might not grasp the concept of less water during washing to concentrate what little detergent is added. Additionally, there are multiple

Pros: Uses barely any water Cons: Uses barely any water...and kids sox come out just as dirty
Summary: Thought we were doing the right thing going w/ the energy saving front loader...problem is only about 1/10th of the drum fills with water and it is like you're sloshing your clothes around in a very dirty bucket barely filled with water...worst $1000
