Pros: Extremely quiet, cold water sanitization, ultra speed spin, low water/energy consumption, easy to use Cons: Some cycles are long, not as big capacity or as efficient as some competitors
We have been on an eco rampage, and reviewing our consumption of energy and water. Of course this has to do with rising energy prices, but also in our municipality we receive 2 water tax bills based on consumption. Our last bill showed that we ...
Pros: Uses way less water Dries so well needs less dryer time SilverCare
Cons: Water puddles inside door gasket Condensation on door drips when open Pathetic user manual
I purchased this Samsung Silver Care series Washer in July 2008. Silver care shoots silver ions throughout your wash to get rid of something like 99.7% of germs...and it does this using COLD water. (You can turn silver on or off depending on what type ...
Pros: Quiet, sanitize in cold water, auto-balancing. Excellent perceived quality. Cons: Expensive, long cycles in sanitize (heated water) or silver-care cycle. Can exceed 2 hours.
We just purchased the Samsung Silver care W & D. The Washer is magnificent. Being an Electronic Technician with a strong mechanical background, we did lots of research but couldn't find a lot of information on Samsung Washers. The main reason we bought ...
Pros: Quiet, fast drying, water savers, NO extreme vibration Cons: I want a little light in the washer so I can watch it work (smile)
My wife and I purchased this washing machine and matching electric dryer in January, 2008. My son had a set of Kenmore front loaders (same models as Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid. All made by Whirlpool) and he had advised me of the "Walking Washer" syndrome ...
Pros: VRT, quiet, low soap/bleach use, Silvercare, Great customer support Cons: Signal at end not loud enough
I researched front-load washers thoroughly before selecting this model, primarily based on the reviews I saw here. I will say that I'm thrilled with my purchase. The washer is on a wood floor on the second floor of our home and the VRT ...
Pros: Cleans well. Spin dries very well. Very Quiet Cons: Unclear Instructions. Limited capacity. end-of-cycle signal too quiet to hear on loudest setting.
After reading 9 favorable reviews on the WF337 AAL I purchased one at Sears. I was wary of the other front loaders because they were having problems with wearing out when they were not sitting on a concrete basement floor. I reenforced my washroom ...
Pros: Child lock out runs quietly big enough for king comforter no vibration Cons: none so far
This was my first front loading washer. I spent a lot of time reading the reviews on all the different brands and Samsung seemed to be the best all around washer. It was being installed on a second floor, so I had to take that into mind. It was ...
Pros: Clean clothes, Large capacity, water recycles Cons: A little pricey. But if it lasts than worth it.
We just bought this Samsung Front Load Washer and so far we love it. My clothes have been cleaner. I washed my comforter in it and the comforter was nice and clean and smelled wonderful. In the past we had purchased Kenmore/Whirlpool and had nothing ...
Pros: It will last a month. Cons: Everything after the first month!
When I first bought this washer, I was so excited and very impressed. It only took one month later to change my mind. After the first DAY, I had to replace the dryer, which Lowes immediately took care of. When the washer stopped working ...
Pros: quiet, efficient when it runs. Cons: pump clogs easily without a filter. locks clothes in when it cant drain messy to drain
pump keeps stalling creating a no drain code. If something as small as a bobby pin goes trough your wash, you have to pull the pump and dislodge it. 3rd time in 6 mos. and its getting tiresome. A filter would have been a good idea, but its not here. serious design flaw.
Pros: Super quiet, cleans your clothes as expected Cons: The initial cost
I've only had the washer two weeks, but so far it has work better than expected, especially when you take into consideration all the bad press some front load washer receive. This is by far the quietest washer I have ever owned, and I am guessing this would be #4.

Pros: Quiet. Cleans clothes. Cuts down on drying time. Cons: I wish it was free but we did have to pay money for it.
Before we bought this washing machine I researched it to death. I read every review I could find and even the instruction manual. We bought it about eight months ago and we love it.
It's on the second floor of our house and I can't tell when it's running. No shaking or vibration at all thanks to the VRT. The dryer makes more noise than the washer.
The clothes come out very clean and MUCH dryer than our old tub washer which greatly reduces drying time. There are more washing modes than I will ever use. It has a custom mode you can program yourself.
We've thrown everything from a single shirt to a comforter in there and the machine has performed flawlessly.
Oh, and no mildew smell at all. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. The null set. None.
The choice of colors was nice. We got the dark gray color. We also got the matching pedestal.
Pros: Saves water, lessens wear and tear on clothing, uses less detergent Cons: Expensive, so look for a good sale!
I purchased this from Lowes in the navy color. It was a floor model and I got almost 40% off the original price and still got the full warranty. The best thing I love about this machine: it does not chew the life out of your clothes. The wash action is gentle, however it does the job.
Initially you might think there is not enough water going into the tub to do the job; this is by design; trust me, it is enough water.
It takes awhile to transition from an old fashion turn-the
knobs machine to an electronic version...but just read the instructions! Once you pick the cycles that you like, you can save them (you know like bookmarking your favorites on a computer).
The special detergent designed for these machines is great because you use less of it.
The sanitation cycle is a tad unnecessary unless you have a lot of people, animals, and or babies in your home. If you don't have to use it don't, it takes up too much time (and more electricity).
Don't buy an LG until you check out Samsung! by rottenfuhrer ,Jan 25 '08
Pros: Capacity, Noise level(or lack thereof), Cycle flexibility, Cold water sanitization w/ Silver Care feature Cons: None as of yet.
This unit replaced my 5 year old Maytag Neptune(MAH55000BW)
and it is magnificent. Considerable jump in capacity and a 500 r.p.m. increase in spin rate. The VRT(Vibration Reducing Technology) really works and the largest/heaviest loads are spun nearly dry with whisper quiet efficiency. There is a myriad of cycles from which to choose the the "My Cycle" feature is a Godsend when you are in a hurry it just punches up your most used cycle and fire away. The silver care feature may work I'm not sure yet however, all of the other attributes of this washer are definitely worth a look or a purchase. Buy one you will never look back.
Pros: Washer worked well for 6 weeks before breaking down Cons: Poor warranty service. Very poor. 48 hours to schedule a service call is unacceptable.
We purchased our washer/dryer set 6 weeks ago. After a week of camping, we found our washer would not work due to a sensor error. We called customer support on a Sat and were told that we would be contacted within 2 business days. You would think that we would receive a phone call scheduling a repair appointment within 1 business day. Monday has come and gone and my 3 kids and I hope we receive a call tomorrow. Samsung's service providers are very unresponsive to warranty calls.
