Pros: Fastest standard SD Card I've tested! Cons: Half as fast as manufacturer's claim. Pricey compared to "standard speed" cards.
With flash memory makers always putting claims about their product's performance on the packaging, how much of that is true? There are several flash memory I've tested that doesn't seem to be anywhere close to the claims, and a few that meet or exceed ...
Pros: Super High Speed, low cost for 2GB, durable and reasonable price. Cons: Doesn't work in Fuji S700 SLR digital camera with 10X Zoom.
THE WAIT IS OVER My SanDisk Extreme® III SD Card arrived over the weekend. I couldn't wait to insert into my Fuji S700 to see what it can do. The excitement had built up with the anticipation but the final result was extreme III ...
Pros: High speed, good capacity, great value Cons: None
Yes, I know I have an unnatural obsession with portable storage. There are memory cards and flash drives strewn around my desk. Every one of them works, though I can only identify what's on a few select cards and drives. My love for digital photography ...
Pros: Big fast drive. Nice physical size. Cons: Doesn't work in all computers. U3 just gets in the way. Avoid this drive.
I purchased this device and now I can't use it. I needed a bigger drive to transfer files from work to home. This one is a really nice size, physically and storage wise. But, I brought it to work and plugged it into my DELL Precision workstation 360. The ...
Pros: As big as three penies and can upload one gig in under 2 Min Cons: I heard the caps get loose after using 5-10 times, but can get replacements.
This drive is extremely small, and I saw a lot of pictures before I bought it, but never appreciated it until I held it. I posted some pictures so you could see how small it actually is. My dad had a 32 Mb Quickdrive that I bought him a couple of years ...
Pros: very sturdy
very small ..tiny like an inch long CRAZY SMALL Cons: doesnt work on legacy USB 1.1 100% of the time
I had few problems with this drive on some older computers. I was able to use the other 1gb from san disk, but when I attempted to use this one it wouldnt pull up on legacy usb controllers. The other one(san disk mini..not the micro..both 1 gig) works great on all older computers, but i really like the size of this drive. Also, this drive is alot sturdier compared to its predecessor the mini..it helps that this one has a hard rubber outer shell and the other does not..making the mini a little flimsy.
very happy with this drive. Size is very important to me, since I'm not going to carry around one that's bulky. This thing is tiny! If you're looking for the U3-enabled version of this, be sure to check the package or the model number closely. SanDisk calls both versions "Cruzer Micro" and there's really nothing to differentiate them besides the packaging and model number, which isn't even listed on SanDisk's website. Go someplace that has them in stock to check the packaging before you order online.
Check around for deals. I often see the cheapest prices as about $70, but (with rebate), I got mine for less than $35 at Amazon.
