I purchased a Nikon Coolpix L18 camera last summer. I had been using my previous 128mb and 512mb sd cards. I read the owners manual and found out that this Coolpix can accept a 4 GB card. Nikon recommends SanDisk,Toshiba and Panasonic.

Last summer,4 GB cards were still kind of pricey- between $35 and $55 dollars. The day after thanksgiving,Staples was selling this card-as an earlybird black-friday special- for $10.

Its easy to install and has a huge capacity-over 1500 exposures. It has to be handled carefully but isnt as fragile as it appears to be.
