Pros: High quality: ingredients, packaging, performance Cons: Lead can break(lower breakage by purchasing a high-quality hand held sharpener--preferably metal)

Pros: Best color pencils, mixes/blends great, versitile Cons: Price, Waxy film buildup which can be cured with a cotton ball ;)

Pros: blend-ability fantastic, smoother than silk!, color range great Cons: Expensive; breakage & cracking make these pencils a difficult investment to choose at times;
Summary: I disagree with the previous review only insofar as breakage. Although Prismacolor are definitely the best colored pencils I've used (blending, smoother than others, etc), I have found that the leads break and the wood does indeed chip sometimes. I
