Pros: Hi resolution screen is easy to read. Cons: Terrible sound quality.
Call lists fail to roll automatically.
Users manual doesn't explain most features.
Summary: This review pertains to the SCP 8100, which is virtually identical to the SCP 5300 except it is for the Sprint network. This is a terrible phone for the money. The sound quality is horrible - I exchanged the first one I bought for $239 at Radio Shack ... read more

Pros: Nice looks, lots of features, camera/flash a big plus, nice ringers, easy to use. Cons: Sporadic signal, slightly large, battery life not that great, Sprint Vision expensive and quirky.
Summary: Since the cell phone boom, I've been a Sanyo Man. My very first phone was the Sanyo SCP-4000, and when it came time for my mother to buy a phone, I heartily recommended the SCP-4500. I was very happy with my SCP-4000: it was reliable, well-built, ... read more

Pros: Signal reception Cons: Price of accessories.
Summary: I replaced a Samsung A500 phone that I lost in a snow storm. It was a fortunate loss as I had been having signal reception problems especially at home. I replaced the phone with the Sanyo SCP5300 and haven't had a dropped call since. Other people have ... read more

Pros: Cute screen saver, Camera, Ringtones. Cons: Cant touch the antenna, crappy reception.
Summary: As a previous owner of the sanyo 4500 and then the 4900, I decided to get this phone after I dropped my old 4900 in the toiled and it died. My previous experience with sanyo has been good so that fueled my decision to purchase this phone. The good ... read more

Pros: Large Screen, Camera Features+Flash, Second Battery Cons: Bulky, Crappier Than The 8100
Summary: When I was switching back to Sprint, I had the choice of two phones. I wanted to pursue Sanyo, so it was either the Sanyo SCP-8100 which was the phone being advertised then at only $99.99 with activation or the much more expensive Sanyo SCP-5300 ... read more
