Pros: Higher discharge voltage, keeps 85% of charge up to a year, competitively priced. Cons: MAh capacity currently lower than standard NiMH batteries.
Regular NiMH AA rechargeable batteries were only giving me 10 shots in my new digital camera. A lot of testing and research led me to Sanyo eneloops. Now I get over 400 shots on a charge! The added bonus is great shelf life. Read on for the full story. ...
Pros: Comes charged out of the package. Cons: Nothing yet
Over the years I've accumulated a dozen Nimh rechargeable batteries to power-up the plethora of electronics I have. And I trusted no other company than Energizer to get the job done. Recently, several of the cells I have won't hold their charge any ...
Pros: The next step in rechargable batteries. Lasts a long time and can be stored. Cons: More expensive. Lower theoretical maximum capacity.
Every decade or two, there comes an evolution in battery technology. Remember the old nicads, then we got nimh with higher capacities. There was a bit of a plateau until the companies started marketing faster chargers and charge times. THIS really ...
Pros: LONG battery life, keeps charge for incredibly long time, charges fast. Cons: Does not make a good pork garnish.
The Nikon L4: small, compact, medium-quality digital camera. Nature's killer. One of these creatures can devour up to 16 double-A North American Energizers per day. The L4 has been observed by Camerologists for years, and the experts agree: your ...
Pros: Only $8 for a 4-pack, lasts a long time. Cons: None so far.
I have tried Energizer 2500mah, Powerex 2600mah and a bunch of other brands. When you buy those batteries, they need to be put in a sophisticated charger and refreshed to reach their full potential. If you just charge them and use them, they won't have ...
Pros: Low self-discharge rate
Much cheaper over time than disposables Cons: Lower energy density than older technologies
I've always been interested in rechargeable batteries. Really, hasn't everybody who has ever thrown away an alkaline wondered if there isn't a better way? I mean, they look perfectly fine, even though we know in our hearts that they are dead, never to ...
Pros: the best choice for most household applications that require AA or AAA Cons: not best if you need high voltage, for instance a radio control race car.
In theory: better for holding a charge for a long time and a long useful duty cycle as rechargeable batteries go, a compromise which does not provide the highest voltage or the longest life, but does the job that could only be done before by a thousand ...
Pros: Holds good charge. Cons: Need to RE-check each battery for /- ends.
Yes, these are great batteries! But some "kid" must have designed the wrapper!! Someone with good eyes who has NO IDEA that others who may handle a dozen or more batteries at a time does NOT want to twist and search for the and - symbols on EVERY battery. Most other batteries have the top and bottom a different color so they can be quickly and easily put in the charger in quantity. Not Eneloop! Darn!!! Other wise they are great!
eneloop batteries are the best by lorenthew ,Feb 27 '08
Pros: Lots of batteries in the Power Pack kit to use. all charged Cons: I did not buy them sooner
Wow, all i can say is wow.. about time someone made a good rechargeable battery that did what is advertised. i am very impressed with the lasting power of the eneloops.
Charge um and forget um. when you need one open the handle Power Pack box and take out a charged ready to go battery.
I got mine at http://www.DepotEco.com for a steal.. and when i asked for free shipping i got it!
The Batteries Charge very fast and will hold that charge sitting around doing nothing or in my case sitting in my keyboard. Before my eneloops i used standard rechargeable and i could not get more than 3 days of use from my Keyboard and mouse before needing to get anew charged battery. No I have the same battery in my keyboard for going on 2 months and have not even needed to thing about recharge yet... These are the best battery you can buy if like me you are concerned about the environment. Since i throw away no more alkaline batteries I am extremely happy.
Thanks again DepotEco.com and Sanyo.
Holy cow. DepotEco.com and Sanyo eneloop batteries are a fit made in rechargeable heaven.
