Pros: Easy to use with a regular spreader. Bags are small enough to carry with ease.
Cons: Product does not stop or slow down the brown spot after first application.

I bought this product as soon as I noticed some brown spot on my lawn and the guy who cuts my lawn told me it was a fungus (not grubs). I used the product exactly as directed last year and this year. The product didn't stop, or slow down, the brown spots. As a matter of fact, the brown spots seem to have spread faster. I'm now looking for a product that works before I lose the entire loan!!

After purchasing 5 bags of Scotts Fungus Control and applying 2 to attempt to control Red Thread Fungus I have realized that this product is totally ineffective at controlling an existing outbreak of Red Thread Fungus. Every experienced landscaper I have contacted advises me that all I can do now is wait for the weather conditions to change. I will return the other 2 bags and attempt a full refund as guaranteed by Scotts.

Cons: Waste of money

I used Scotts Lawn Service for 4 months and have never seen so many weeds. I used their Complete Care Program and had an aeration done along with 2 treatments and my yard looks like a jungle afterwards. I never saw the guy and could never speak to anyone to find out what the problem was. Neighbors said they were in and out in 10 minutes when they were here. All I every saw was weeds and a bill.

Pros: None.
Cons: Useless against red thread.

This Scotts product will not control or eliminate red thread.
Don't waste your time or money on Scotts Lawn Fungus Control.
