I purchased this spreader 5 years ago. This year the axle broke (rusted through). Very odd since I wash it out and keep it garaged, but I guess the fertilizer water wears on the metal extra quick. I called scotts and they shipped a new axle for my spreader with no questions asked. Very responsive.

The plastic trigger handle broke on my Accugreen 3000.  I contacted Scotts through their website, inquiring about replacing it.  I received an email from a customer service rep asking a simple question about which calibration barrel I had, and a week later a whole new handle assembly showed up via FedEx.  Absolutely incredible.  It took me 3 minutes to re-assemble and calibrate using their instructions.  The plastic handle may not be of the highest quality, but the way Scotts responded could not have been better.  Love this product, and now I love this company.
