Cons: It does not eliminate all the grubs, it reduces the count.

I had a bad problem with white grubs underground in my lawn. By summer's end, parts of the lawn would turn brown and die. It could be lifted up by hand like it was a carpet showing all the white grubs underneath.

Every spring, for the last 5 years, I applied Grubex according to the directions. While it did not completely eliminate the grubs, it reduced them significantly.

However, I still have a problem area in a shady spot near one corner. Last year, I applied extra Grubex there. It did not completely eliminate the grubs or the damage. Right now, April 09, the lawn in that area still can be pulled up by hand.

While Grubex is better than doing nothing, don't expect it to completely eliminate all the grubs or prevent all damage. It is not a complete cure.
