Pros: Built by John Deere. Strong Kohler engine. Tight turning radius.
Cons: Fender mounted ignition switch; Seat & reverse safety switches; placement of muffler.

Summary: DISCLAIMER:  Bypassing safety switches is not recommended or endorsed by the manufacturer, the seller, nor my attorney.  If you choose to bypass these switches, you are doing so at your own risk.  If you get run over, cut your foot off, or ... read more

Pros: Cuts lawn nice and neat.
Cons: Safety features can drive you crazy, especially if you don't weigh over 115 pounds.

Summary: This is a nice lawn mower. It mows with a decent width (42"), at a decent speed and doesn't cut off in thicker/taller grass (Kohler 16 HP engine), and the cuttings can be left without raking or bagging. We have three quarters of an acre and it ... read more
