Pros: Fun way to teach your child spelling and increase your own knowledge. Cons: not enough of the letters you want and can become irritating.
I hadn't really been a fan of scrabble until my son's teacher suggested we use the game as a way to help my son learn his spelling words and also learn to spell new words. So we went out and bought the game.
It cost $11.00. The game is...

Pros: This game is fun if you can find someone who will play. Cons: Might be hard for children to play with adults.
Well I don't like to squabble while playing any game. I bought Scrabble for my daughter when she was eight. I was hoping it would be a way for her to increase her spelling knowledge.

Pros: It's very entertaining to mix and match the words Cons: There is ALWAYS an argument about whether something is really a word or not.
I've played the classic Milton Bradley game Scrabble many-a-time and almost always end up enjoying myself. Scrabble is a game in which each of the players is given seven little wooden tabs with a letter printed on each of them (* unless you get a blank...

For my son's ninth birthday, my parents got him the old favorite, Scrabble. I must admit that I forgot how much fun this game can be. We spent hours the first night over the board laughing, and arguing a little.
Scrabble has been around for...

Pros: Loads Of Fun, Great way to improve spelling Cons: Pieces are quite small, much to small to have left out near children
I always enjoy a good game of Scrabble, although I am not very good with spelling, I often find myself being able to make bigger and better words each time. It is a matter of practice, and of course it helps to have a dictionary on hand. You can create ...
