Pros: It's Scrabble, without the wait! Cons: It's Scrabble, so we can't market it!
If any of you are like me, who get terribly impatient when fellow Scrabble players insist on taking 45 minutes or more per turn, here is a great new version of the standard classic that, were we not almost guaranteed to run into severely limiting...

Pros: Amazing action, tear jerking drama, creative dictionary usage Cons: My girlfriend will beat you too
Scrabble, It is the greatest board game invented since chess. The rules are so simple that the only prerequisite to play is being able to spell in English. Yet the strategy is so complicated that you will be crushed by your girlfirend's stunning...

Pros: intellectually engaging Cons: game pieces slide around
All right, so it's got about 25 too many letters. And it probably wouldn't count as a real word. But just think what a score it would get! Scrabble encourages everyone, from reading-level children to adults, to enhance their vocabulary. The more words...

Pros: It's a great fame for all the family Cons: It can be a little slow
The one thing people hate about Scrabble are the rules. "If only I was allowed to put down proper names!", "If only you hadn't put that there", "If only I could steal that S and put it somewhere else"....
But...

Pros: Improves your strategic and vocabulary skills, fun way to spend the night with friends or family, unique in its concept Cons: Addictive, some of the words they accept is questionable
My mother, being the word maniac that she is, is the one who always had Scrabble available. However, my brothers never really showed an interest in it, and all of us have a life that is always on the go. So, playing a leisurely board game is usually...

Pros: It's fun, educational, relatively inexpensive. Cons: None
Scrabble has been a very popular game in my family and had to replace it at least three times over the years because of lost tiles or tile stands.
I have two daughters; the oldest is 24 years old and the youngest is 23. The best player is...

Pros: Good teaching tool Cons: Might be long for adults
This is an oldie but a goodie. The game has some many uses from its original intention. The original way to play is to build words on the bard and to build off the words and gain as much points as you can. The same thing applies to letting kids play....

Pros: Fun for the whole family, easy to learn, internationally-known game Cons: Often takes 20 min for a person with 'bad tiles' to make a move!!!
Note on Price: My family got the 'deluxe rotating board' version, which is way more expensive than the plain board. I've seen the board form of it for about $6.99!
Family Fun
Scrabble has been played in my family...
