Pros: Everything! Cons: The fact that it ended!
First and foremost, I am a V.C. Andrews fan. None of her series touched me as much as Flowers in the Attic. The best book of the series is that of Seeds of Yesterday.
In in, we find Cathy and Chris in their 50's. The children, of course, are all grown up. While I won't spoil the plot for you, I will tell you that out of the rest of the Flowers in the Attic series, this one is the most emotional and heartbreaking.
Wording that is used in Seeds of Yesterday is extremely powerful. Since it is in Cathy's words....it makes you feel like you are finally are Cathy.
As I said before...this book is very emotional. The climax at the end for me was draining. I cry each time I read it.
What I loved about it was that while it didn't answer many questions, it did produce a fitting closure on Chris/Cathy.
