Can only be used where the wireless base is plugged in.

Cons: As you move around you will hit antinodal points and then buzz, squeal, buzz, pop...

Cons: continuous background noise, and signal loss when moving around, even close to base.
Summary: Constant background hiss, even if the volume of the input is cranked as high as you can get it without distortion (i.e. at what should be the best signal-to-noise ratio). Even standing 3 feet away from the base, turning my head back and forth slightly
