If you will do a google search on this stuff you will see what terrible reactions a lot of smaller dogs have had.I have a 12 lb dog and thankfully I searched the internet within the first couple of hours after applying this product.My dog was licking the air continuously and then projectile vomitted,I searched it on the net and immediately washed him twice hoping to avoid the seizures and tremors that was also being reported, not to mention the vet bills alot of these people were out. Bottom line, to me...Just stck with what you know to be safe and vet recommended to prevent suffering for your pet.
Sentry Pro XFC is not a product I would use again.The only upside was the price but in the longrun it was not worth it for the scare I got.

My name is Cheryl and I used the Sentry PRO XFC product on my dogs last night, only to have one of them end up with mass seizures, frothing at the mouth, and a 106 temperature, all within two hours of application. (all directions were followed to a "t") All said and done we ended up with an emergency vet bill of $700, and a very traumatic night for all involved. Thank god there was a 24hr emergeny vet in our area (at 10pm on a Sunday evening), and thank god they saved our beloved pet.

Pros: Costs less
Cons: Causes more problems.  Better off paying more for the better products.

Purchased at PetSmart and put first dose on Saturday, March 28th around 2:30 pm.  By 6:30, my black lab mix was scratching and panting. By Sunday afternoon, seemed totally confused, still panting and scratching constantly.  Called the Hotline number and was told to bath my dog in regular dish soap and repeat 2 more times. Then place vitamin E on skin.??  My dog is better but still scratching.  I am very dissatisfied with this situation and found numerous complaints regarding this after the fact.  Why is this still on the market and how can they allow pet owners to continue to purchase and suffer through the problems?
