Sharp Aquos LC 15" TV: Mr. Hooterville Shops, Drops $1,100

by MsHooterville Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Jan 22 '03
Pros: Very attractive and compact, no ugly wires around
Cons: I wanted a religious experience and didn't get it
One lovely Sunday a few weeks ago, my husband expressed his growing discontent with the dark picture on the television in our kitchen -- a development that I found annoying as well, but could have lived with.

He decided to go look at...

Treat Yourself

by vaughn_smith , Jan 08 '03
Pros: 500 : 1 Contrast Ratio, Lightweight, Excellent Picture (rivals HD), Good Sound, All Inputs
Cons: Mounting Hardware Extra and Expensive, Not PC Monitor Compatible
Although I hemmed and hawed greatly, paced the floor and tried to lower my standards and buy a 14" to 20" Flatscreen Sony or Toshiba, I couldn't stop thinking about how much I NEEDED this Sharp LCD in my life. So I did the unthinkable and told the sales...

Aquos, they have done a good job with this TV

by skull99 , Feb 20 '03
Pros: What you want, awesome picture and good sound to boot !
Cons: Still kinda pricey

The remote preset...

One of the best TV's in production

by p3ngu1n , Aug 17 '02
Pros: 170 degree viewing angle of an LCD screen.
Cons: Only 15 inches
Its well thought out design attracts but doesn't get in the way of the picture. The Aquos actually allows the picture to float as if defying physical space. In fact, at only 2 and a half inches deep, it actually does defy space constraints. Now I can put...

I love the new TV...
by ginni_dt3000 ,Aug 07 '02
I love the new TV I just received. It is everything I wanted and more. However, I was disappointed by the lack of information about how to wall mount the unit. I am putting it in my kitchen and I want to conserve counter space. It blends nicely with my room but I do not want to have it on the counter. I will have to contact Sharp to find out how to do this.

Good looking bright picture, but with fast moving action there is some "smear" or ghost, like too slow shutter speed. Great plug in capabilities.
