Extremely Low-Cost VCR delivers picture but not user-friendliness

Pros: Good picture...CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP
Cons: Lousy remote, lousy signage on-screen and on-unit (FF, REW absent)
To sum up early, this is an example of "you get what you pay for (or the amount you pay). This ultra low-cost VCR (perhaps the only cheaper way to get one is to buy off the street in New York City) delivers a clear picture, but on-screen signage, ...
