Pros: Powerful, easy to clean, lots of features, cheap Cons: Popcorn sensor blows.
Tom wanted to know why the hell we needed a microwave. You have to understand that the man has not eaten at home in probably 10 years. He's a restaurant junkie. When I came on the scene, that all changed. Fast. I like to cook, damn it, so he is learning ...

Pros: Easy to clean and use. A lot of great pre-sets. Cons: There aren't any that I can see.
This is our second microwave and I have to say, I am pleased with this one. I like that it has an interior light and a carousel to ensure food is cooked evenly. The best part is that it has a hot water button so I can make hot water for a cup ...

Pros: An inexpensive but feature packed mid-size oven Cons: Problems with the turntable

Broke in 2 years
by mcoblenz ,Dec 13 '05
Pros: Used to work. Cons: Very early failure.
I've only had this microwave for a little under two years, and it's already broken. Almost all of the buttons on the control panel don't work. Sensor reheat seems to still work, and I can turn it on and off, but I can't choose how long to turn it on for.
I called SHARP, and they refuse to help me. A repair would cost more than the microwave. Too bad - I can't believe something as simple as a panel of buttons would break. I guess next time I'm not getting a Sharp.

Very easy to use
by MrT. ,Aug 31 '08
Pros: Preset buttons cover 80% of typical microwave uses and work well. Cons: Multiple steps to set clock or timer.
We chose the Sharp R320HW as a wedding gift because of earlier positive experiences with Sharp Products. My last Sharp Carousel lasted 15 years with no problems whatsoever. The best features are the preset buttons. Sensor Reheat for warming up a dinner plate works amazingly well, as does Sensor Cook and the Defrost Buttons. The major drawback is setting the clock or using it as a timer, too many steps to be easily useful.
