Pros: Easy to use, nice controls, affordable Cons: No S-video output, 400 x zoom not usable
Well, I went looking for a replacement camera to view my old HI-8 tapes I made beginning back in 1989, on a Cannon A1. The Cannon did not last long and had given me many problems along the way, but what a nice camera for 1989. I missed viewing the wife,...

Pros: Lightweight, LCD screen size, Remote Control, Digital Image Stabilization, Features, and PRICE !! Cons: Mono Audio, Battery Life, Not Digital
This is my first camcorder. Let me say this: for the price I got it for, it was a steal !! I bought it at Sam's Club for $125.00. It was a display model that was barely used. In fact, the guy that ran the department told me he took it out of the box a ...

Not as good

Pros: Poor camera Cons: none
I have a VL-A10U just like this. The one I told you is that it plays tapes in black and white. When you tape, it is in color. It shows lines and it goes off like its dead but its a poor camera. Doesn't last long at all!!!

Great camera. Very easy to use. Excellant zoom and great sound quality at a long distance from subject. Super for concerts or closeups. Good price too. Gives 2 hours of video on 1 tape and origional battery. Comes with easy to use battery charger and cables to put your video on VCR tape or CD. Looked at others, but as well as being the best value, this Sharp offered the best features.

This camera does what I need it to. Like take great recording. It also has many bells & whistles with it like fade in and out, and other great options. I really like the quality of this camera. And the price on it was decent. I bought a spare battery when the other one runs dry. Accessaries to this camera is also priced right. Overall, this camera is a good value!
