Pros: Beautiful landscaping, all rooms are ocean view rooms Cons: Bad service
Why did we choose to stay at the Sheraton Maui? My husband and I were meeting his parents on Kauai after the American Dental Association annual meeting last fall. We decided to spend a few days on Maui before heading to Kauai since we had a ...
My family just came home from a 6 night stay at the Sheraton Maui that I had booked almost a year ago on Expedia.com. We went there not knowing what to expect and being blown away by almost every aspect of the hotel. The check in process was easy and ...
Pros: Beautiful beach and resort, wonderful snorkeling, good restaurant, good room Cons: Some staff very rude, gym terrible, not cheap
I recently stayed at the Sheraton Maui for 2 nights with my fiancee and I have a few comments to make. We also stayed at the Hyatt further south on Kaanapali beach. The quality of the gym facilities was terrible, there were no free weights provided ...
Pros: Great pool area, great for families, excellent location - best in Kanapaali Cons: Expensive restaurants and drinks, other extra costs
We just returned from the Sheraton where we stayed with our 3-year-old daughter and infant son. After having read the comments on this and other websites I was a little nervous about what we would find but in all I think there was nothing to worry about....
Pros: Great location, beautiful beach, nice pools. Cons: Overpriced, small rooms, lots of "hidden fees".
We had a reservation to stay at this property the week of Nov. 7-14th. My husband was attending a CME conference and we decided to tie it in with a family vacation.
When I made the reservation, I spent some time on the phone explaining that...

Pros: beautiful location; extremely friendly staff; great morning buffet; lovely large beach; maticulous grounds Cons: dining really expensive; rooms small, pool huge, easy to lose track of kids
After careful review of all our options, we chose the Sheraton Maui for our first family vaca to Maui. We have 2 girls, ages 6 and 9. They loved the place. The large, spacious grounds, the beautiful large beach, and the friendly staff. We really...
Pros: Location, friendliness, cleanliness. Cons: Restaurants and bars are a bit pricey
My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary here for 5 days and then to Kauai for 5 days. Upon arrival we were greeted by no less than 5 people and we were immediately upgraded from an ocean front room to a junior sweet ocean front room. Fresh leis were put around our necks also. The service was fantastic, the room was more than anyone could ask for and the location was unbelievable. The concierge was friendly and very helpful. Everyone at the hotel was exceptionally friendly. If going back to Maui would book the Sheraton again.
Pros: Fantastic snorkel location right off beach called Black Rock. Cons: Very expensive, hidden room fee, no alternative places to eat.
Very nice rooms. Service seemed fine, but only used maid service. Lack of a variety of eating establishments forces you to drive offsite rather than pay the hotels extremely expensive prices. Twenty dollar per day parking should have been included in price for room. Great beach, swim with turtles. Twenty six dollar per night hidden room fee.
