Pros: Many! The main pool area is wonderful. Cons: Not so many that I can not recommend it!
We had a chance to spend some time at the Vistana Resort in Lake Buena Vista, and I must say that it is nice. The rooms are VERY spacious and well stocked with comfortable furnishings, coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster, and my favorite,...
Pros: Spacious, quiet accommodations with all the comforts of home! Cons: Shuttle service to Disney was overpriced. Dryer did not work.
Our stay at the Sheraton Vistana during our visit to Disney was excellent overall. We stayed in a very roomy two bedroom unit which will sleep eight. The unit consisted of two bedrooms, full-sized kitchen, two baths, a large living room, and a...
We originally stayed at the Vistana three years ago on the advice of our travel agent and what great advice that was. This is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed.
We stayed in the "Palms" section which is the older rooms. Our villa...
Pros: large rooms, great pool, friendly staff Cons: very large; lots of walking, not as magical as staying on disney property
On my last trip to Disney World in July of 2004, I spent 6 nights at the Sheraton Vistana Resort with my friend and her family. They have a time share there and go every other year and invited me along. When we got there, my friend's mom asked if they ...
My family and I were there May 2006 and I couldn't believe they are still a Gold Crown Resort.. Lets start out by saying we checked in at 5:00 pm and requested a crib for our daughter. They assured me it would be in our room when we returned from dinner. ...
Pros: A clean, spacious two-bedroom three-TV unit with room to spare for a family of five. Cons: Portions of the resort grounds and our unit aesthetically "dated".
The Sheraton Vistana is a great alternative to staying "on-property" at the world. The resort atmosphere is relaxing and clean. Staff, when needed (we rarely did), were helpful and friendly. The pools were excellently maintained and heated to a very...
Pros: lots to do, fun for entire family Cons: could get pricey if you do not have a timeshare
I highly recommend staying at the Vistana Resort next time you visit Orlando. It is a beautiful place to stay and even if you do not go anywhere while you stay there, they is tons of stuff to do on the site. I went with my sister's family and her ...
Pros: Wonderful amenities, great staff, spacious clean rooms, close to Disney Parks. Cons: Grocery store a little pricey, but is convenient in a pinch.
Just returned with a party of 18, 6 of them small children. We stayed in three separate condos and the resort listened to our special requests of keeping us in the same building unit. We were also so very close to the pool, playground and on-site ...
Pros: A vacation in itself!! Cons: exercise facilities very limited.
The Sheraton Vistana is a beautiful resort located half way between Disney and Universal. My husband and I recently visited with four other adults. Although we were having a great time, I wished my kids were there to enjoy the seven swimming pools and...
Pros: Clean, neat, plenty of parking, on site stores and restaurants, great recreation. Cons: less than full room service
Vistana is close to Disney, across the street from a real, albeit a little depressing, grocery store. It is chock full of nice amenities, including a store or two on the property. The pictures online just do not do it justice. Nice apartments, with ...
We stayed at the Vistana Resort in Feb '02. For about the same price as one room at a Disney mid-priced hotel, you get two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, and washer/dryer. The location is one mile from the Disney main gate, closest to the Downtown...
Pros: Large Fully Appointed Villas, many themed pools, spas. Beautiful landscaping. Cons: The price is somewhat high, but it's worth every penny!
We stay at Vistana every year, although we haven't bought a timeshare, we just rent by the week. There was absolutely no pressure to attend any sales presentations, although they offer a free breakfast for the family and I think possibly theme park...
Pros: nice pools, passable food, fish to feed in the lakes, attractive villas in lakes area, Cons: bed bugs, poor service , no variety in "restaurants" on site, generally poor maintenance throughout
I was awakened on our first night in our villa to find little tick-like bugs crawling on me and the bed. When I swatted a few, they spewed blood........mine! The management gave us another place, but it was really noisy, being too close to the ...
Pros: Clean room. Good amenities. Good service. Nice pools. Cons: None.
My family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom villa at the vistana. We had a great experience. The rooms were nicely laid out. They were very clean and well decorated. We had the daily housekeeping which was a plus. My only complaint was the weather was a little cold and we didn't stay long enough to enjoy all the amenities! We will definitely go back again on our next trip to Disney.
