Pros: 1 & 2 bedroom units with fully equipped kitchen & washer/dryer. New property. Cons: Restaurants, shopping, etc., are not within walking distance. Car recommended.
Sheraton's Vistana Village is a very quiet property nestled between wooded areas on International Drive. This property consists of several small condo type buildings with a total of 360 villas circling around the pool/ courtyard center. When I visited...
Pros: Clean, variety of things to do and you have a permanent momento. Cons: surcharge fees on phones is all that I can think of.
My wife and I have been going to Vistana for about five years now. We could not have been happier. When we first started looking for a time share to purchase, we went to a lot of different showings. Then a friend of ours told us about Sheraton. The very ...
Pros: Near attractions, extensive personal services, clean and well kept, helpful and courteous personnel. Cons: Not inexpensive, no control over non-smoking rooms, relatively remote location without a car.
December 2006. You can read all the gory details about the Villages in the other reviews/sales pitches. And they are mainly true if I could believe they tried all the services. It's a big place: at least ten 5-story buildings holding 30 apartments, ...
Pros: VERY spacious!
More like an apartment.
Jacuzzi in bedroom.
Great waterfall in lake.
Huge pool. Cons: They don't provide free transportation to Universal or SeaWorld. Worrisome timeshare salespeople.
I totally loved this place. My husband and I had our two kids and my parents. We booked the two bedroom. And I was so pleasantly surprised. It was like a new apartment, fully stocked. Everything you need in a kitchen was there, but the food (not even...
Pros: Luxurious surroundings - treat yourself! Cons: Some gentle pressure to consider timeshare ownership
I chose this property because my stepchildren love to swim, and this property had the largest and most spectacular-looking pool of all Orlando area hotels. Also, relatives have been long-time, happy owners of a timeshare at another Vistana property in ...
Pros: Very convienient, quiet location in otherwise busy International Drive Cons: Not for the budget traveller!!
I stayed at the Vistana Villages in October of 2000, it was still under construction at that point and we received a reduced rate through our travel agent. That being said, the hotel was beyond my expectations in almost every aspect.
First of all...
Pros: Cascades condo was nice for the $$ only if you get the timeshare deal Cons: Most everything else
We took the offer of $169/4 nights to listen to the timeshare overview. For the price it was worth it but I wouldn't have paid too much more. The reception center was welcoming upon checking in w/balloons for the kids and music. We stayed in the ...
Pros: Convenience and amenities Cons: Our room was due to be refurbished.
Spacious and comfortable 2 BR villa. Very convenient to Downtown Disney. One of the toilets was stopped up when we arrived. It took maintenance 3 calls and two trips to get it working properly but the staff was otherwise helpful and courteous. The room had a bit of a musty odor, I suspect it was time for the carpets to be changed.
The heated pool and the spa provided a wonderful way to unwind after a day on our feet walking the parks. There is also a jacuzzi in the master BR which we didn't try.
On balance I am pleased with our stay at Vistana and would stay here again.
