Pros: Cheap. Close to the El.
Cons: No atmosphere. Untrained sushi chefs. Poor quality. Long wait.
Summary: I hate being negative, but I've had a few bad meals here-- this last one has sent me to the doctor for dehydration (via my post-meal barf-o-rama) this a.m.. No kidding. I'm stunned!

Pros: Cheap, fast, close to my home!
Cons: No atmosphere, not best sushi around
Summary: Sushi is not the best quality but great for the price. You can get a Party Platter which is 3 rolls and 15 nigiri pieces of your choice only for $21.50. The place gets crowded because of the price and the service. The turnover rate is the best I have ... read more

Cons: Not the greatest quality, can be crowded

Pros: excellent price, good quality sushi
Cons: service , ambience and lack of presentation
Summary: For the money, Shiroi is perhaps the best Chicago sushi bargain. Granted, the sushi is adequate, good not great. Service is fair . Remeber expensive doesn't equal quality and I have had far worse sushi at very high priced "yuppie"
