I picked up the book w/ CD at Costco and wanted to try it out. To be honest, I didn't quite think it would work. I was very persistent in showing my 7-month old the first sign - the sign for milk - every time I offered a bottle. It took about 3 or 4 weeks...voila' - today my little one refused to eat any of her food and all of the sudden showed me the sign for milk! I couldn't believe it! I brought her the bottle and she showed me the sign again and again. I was giving her what she really wanted. Amazing! I can't wait to introduce more words/signs now.
