Pros: Extreme comfort with firmness and subtle cushion gives you a great night's sleep. Cons: None
We had been looking for mattresses for a while, it is a big purchase right? So we shopped and shopped, compared coil count to coil count, firm to plush, fill to interior structure. We looked at Sealy, Stearns and Foster (way out of our price range),...

Pros: get it if your goal is to ruin your life Cons: Extreme pain, sags in the middle, useless
This bed has f****d up my back more than I can explain. I spent a lot of time looking at beds and this one seemed very soft in the 15 minutes i laid on it and the salesman assured me of its quality. For the price ($1450) I assumed that equaled ...

Pros: looks good BUT (see cons) Cons: seam failure
mattress came with a 10 year NON-prorated warranty. After 2nd year the seams started to come apart. Complaint was filed with SLEEPYS. They will give you the run around and make false promises. Had to wait for months and rescheduled visits to get a...

After many years and several different mattresses, we finally found a good one - the Simmons BackCare. It comes in 3 different lumbar support indices; 10%, 20% and 30%. After much research and pricing, we settled on the Sweetbriar model with a LSI of...

Pros: Very comfortable initially, looks great, good finishing and materials Cons: Pillow top degrades so fast, painful to sleep on
I bought the Simmons Backcare Ultimate Supreme mattress just 2 years ago. It felt GREAT at first... for about six months. It has a "pillow top" which is a padded surface on top of the mattress that is super comfy. But after a while, it started to sink ...

Pros: good for 2 days Cons: mattress too firm get back pain after 2 day
Well I heard so much good stuff about the simmons backcare so I decide to give it a try. What a mistake.
They try to do this 5 zone design so you will have a better support for the back. Well nice try guys, it only work if you lie down...

Pros: was a great mattress for 1 year. Is the ultimate mattress when it is new Cons: Had to replace after a year.
I bought the St. Jill model, which was their top-of-the-line firm model. It was called their Ultimate Supreme. They did not make a better spring unit, and their more expensive models just had more padding. I wanted a firm mattress, and this was their...

Pros: Name sounds nice Cons: The mattress
DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS UNLESS YOU SLEEP ALONE.

We bought our king-size Simmons BackCare "Harmony" model in 2000 because we wanted a well-made mattresss which would support my husband's hips and back. We bought the mattress and box springs at a locally-owned furniture store for just under $1100 per ...

Very Nice Mattress So Far
by bdviets ,Dec 22 '06
Pros: good independent coil suspension, comfortable, thick mattress. Cons: A few occasional very minor movement noises.
We've had the Simmons Backcare mattress for about a year now. It has been very comfortable with just the right firmness and softness for us. We bought the queen middle grade pillowtop style set.
My brother bought the same one in a king size and he was ok with it but his girlfriend, after about a month, complained that it hurt her back. So they took it back and bought a different brand.

Doesn't Go The Distance
by llamoure ,Jan 09 '07
Pros: firm for several years Cons: big craters developed several years into ownership. Didn't last as long as the warranty.
We bought the mattress 10 years ago and rotated it faithfully as suggested by the salesperson. We were told that the mattress had a 10 year warranty (which he explained they would give us a pro-rated amount for early failure). This mattress had us sleeping like babies for about 8 years. The last two have been unbearable and a real pain to sleep on. We're buying a new mattress, but not Simmons.
