We purchased this mattress just over a year ago, paid $1300 for the stupid thing and have regretted it ever since. I had to start going to a chiropractor right away after purchasing it but never put two and two together. Today, there is such a big indentation where my husband sleeps, you literally fall into bed, the whole is huge. I called the company we bought the bed from and he said it is normal and even $5000 mattresses have indentations. Well my cheap $300 bed never had this kind of indentation. It is just downright uncomfortable and we are having a harder and harder time sleeping. I feel like we just wasted a large amount of money because we wanted to upgrade to a nicer more expensive bed for us.

Pros: Individual coils are nice when someone else is on the bed. 
Cons: Unable to flip and extremely difficult to rotate.  Very poor quality.

Bought this at RC Willey and spent over $1500.00 on a King size.  Comfortable for the about 6 months.  Then began the peaks and valleys.  They have gotten more extreme over the past few years and the bed is totally and completely a major pain in the BACK!!!.  Both for myself and my wife.  The impressions are so deep I have to roll up to the edge of the bed and use the head board to get out.  When Simmons was contacted and sent out a rep we were told it was normal wear and there had to be over 6 inches difference between the hump in the middle and the body impressions.  No problem when your off, but lay on it and the difference is almost 12 inches.  What a joke. Needless to say, they will not stand behind their
"10 YEAR WARRANTY"   That being said, I will never buy another Simmons mattress and I tell everyone I can not to either.  We have offered to pass it down to our children and they will not take.  Not even as an extra bed it their spare bedroom.

Cons: Saggy, no support, recipe for a screwed up back.

My wife and I bought this bed in 9/02 and within a year I had back pain. I was told by the inspection company to put a broom across the width and measure the deepest gap. If it were less than 3" they would assume nothing is wrong with it. They came to inspect and told us there was nothing wrong with this bed. Its a little over a year later now and my back is in shambles! The two of us combined weigh in at about 325 lbs and our lower backs sink so low that it is painful to sleep on this bed. There is no support. After two years and 3 months this $1300 bed is in worse shape than the $600 bed that I had for 12 years. I have not woken up feeling good in about two years.
I intend to fight this one to the bitter end. I feel taken for what I spent. I will be a relentless pain in the _ss until someone steps up to the plate and takes responsibility for this.

Cons: Edging is highly uncomfortable and bed brings less support than promised.

My husband and I bought this bed less than 3 months ago and have experienced back pain in places we have never even had problems with before! We paid the extra money this time around for the promise of extra support and comfort. I wake every morning with the kind of pain only extreme strain brings on. I've never been so unhappy with a bed, ever!

My husband and I purchased this mattress set from Macy's less than two years ago.  We are in the process of our SECOND return.  For the second time a "mattress inspector" came to our home and did some measuring.  Both times the inspector indicated that the mattresses were defective.  It is an awful mattress that permanently contours to our bodies after six months causing "ruts" on boths sides of the bed with a large hump in the middle.  You will be stuck in one spot on your bed and will not be able to roll over.  I wake up with backaches every morning.  I can place a folded up blanket in the "rut" so that the area evens out with the rest of the bed.  If necessary (and it seems to be inevitable), I will be calling Macy's on a regular basis...every six months or so...to have the mattress replaced.  THIS IS AN AWFUL MATTRESS...DO NOT PURCHASE IT.  It is my understanding that the ENTIRE SIMMONS PILLOWTOP LINE IS THIS WAY. 

Pros: good for your body because it stops back pain
Cons: is very high so the sheets are always small for it

I would absolutely never buy a Simmons Beautyrest World Class Pillow Top bed again. My husband and I both sleep together in the middle of the bed, and then move to the sides later in the night. As a result, the bed has a big depression in the middle, and when we move to lay on our respective sides, we lie slanted towards the middle of the bed. My husband already has developed back problems as a result of this bed in the past year and a half. We have had the bed for under 2yrs and because the bed depression is less than 1.5”, Mattress Discounters and Simmons both deny any problems with the bed. Unfortunately for us, their method of measuring bed depression will never show actual bed depression on a pillow top bed, as the plush will always give enough of a fluffy rise to hide the underlying mattress issues. Beware the Plush/ Pillow Top beds!
