Pros: Sleeps like a rock, no motion felt by partner Cons: Price, but what's a good night's sleep worth to you?
After having several "premium brands" over the years, this is the best mattress we have ever owned. I am a physician and I compulsively research things (can't help it). You need to compare apples with apples when buying a mattress. Model names vary among ...
Pros: Extremely comfortable, no sense of motion when in the bed, no flipping or turning required Cons: Expensive, heavy, requires premium deep pocket sheets
Why we bought the Simmons: we bought the Simmons Beautyrest World Class Exceptionale with memory foam about 2 years ago because our other bed was, we figured out, causing us pain and making us wake up tired due to lack of sleep. We must have tried 100 ...
Pros: My back and neck say NONE! Cons: Consider this before you purchase because Simmons DOES NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS!
My husband and I researched all the mattresses and decided to try the Simmons Beauty Rest. That was the worst decision we made. We bought the top of the line and paid 1700 dollars for a full size. We have been sleeping on this ...
Pros: Comfort that defies description. Cons: The mattress is very deep. Get a low profile box spring.
I have been a Simmons customer for nearly 15 years and can say that my bedroom is my favorite room in the house. The cares of the day just melt away when I'm supported by the Beautyrest mattress. The mattress provides great support and the pillow top ...
Pros: None Cons: Poor construction, worst bedding on the market.

Pros: comfortable Cons: too big, body impressions in the first month
We had a Beautyrest for the last 10 years and recently bought the Worldclass with latex pillow top ($2500). It was comfortable the first few nights, then felt like I was sinking. And the pillow top adds a few degrees of temperature to your body (not good ...
Pros: Good for back/stomach sleepers. Prevents against body impressions. Cons: Bad for side sleepers.
The World Class Visco Firm is a very firm mattress. It features a stronger individually pocketed coil system that gives the mattress a Firm core feel. The individually pocketed coil system is built for the best motion separation and contouring support of ...
Pros: None! Cons: Sags within one hour after lying down causing sharp spine pain

Fraud. Fraudulent ...
Pros: limited motion, dense feel (no springy-ness)top of the line foam ( reduced pressure points) Cons: none
i have a plush Simmons World Class with memory foam. simmons beautyrests have a denser feel than other brand names because of the individually pocketed coils. there is limited motion transfer which is important to me because i am a light sleeper. i am sorry some of you have had a bad experience with simmons. HOWEVER, i think the problem you have is with your sales person and not the Simmons brand itself. here are some pointers:
it takes roughly about 8-10 weeks for the bed to properly "break in" until then it may feel different on the showroom floor. sleep on the entire surface of this mattress during that time to prevent sleeping in dips. do whatever you need to do to make sure it breaks in evenly.
also, manufacturer warranties are for 10 years on almost every brand innerspring mattress (i.e. Simmons, Sealy, Sterns & Foster) it covers an inch and a half dip or more in the foam and any other manufacturer defects. two things to void the warranty will be any stain. or improper foundation, (mismatched boxsprings between brands) or a frame without a center support for queen size or bigger.
Pros: It was comfortable for a about a year Cons: Warranty is fraudulant; bed has sunken on both sides; impossible to sleep on; $2000 junk!
We spent $2000 on a new Simmons bed, boxsprings and bed frame "so as to not void the warranty" and in less than a year and a half, this bed is causing me more headaches, back pain, shoulder pain and sleepless nights than I care to remember. It is a HORRIBLE product. We filed a warranty claim (we were told "We'll send you the paperwork" by the dealer, who didn't send it, we called again, same thing...it took a month to get the warranty paperwork!) and we were told by Simmons Manufacturing that "body impressions are normal." However, if this is their idea of normal body impressions, they are insane...the valleys are so deep, I cannot get to the other side of the bed without heaving myself over the middle hill, and I weigh 130lbs. It is absurd and we will sell it at our next garage sale if we don't take it to the dump first. I wrote the company back and assured them that I would be posting all over the internet. Totally substandard product and I will NEVER buy Simmons again! Run for your life!
Pros: I can think of no pros - the whole buying experience has been awful. Cons: the mattress is hot, uncomfortable, and definitely will not hold up very long.
We bought the top of the line Exceptionale memory foam mattress 1-2/2 years ago and it had to be replaced within 4 months for deep "valleys" that never returned to normal. The mattress was replaced and the replacement has done the exact same thing. Simmons says that a depression of 2" in the mattress is not severe enough to warrant replacement. The bottom line is that (a) I would NEVER buy another Simmons - and (b)we cant afford to replace it right now so I dread going to bed each and every night.
This bed was a complete waste of money. It was great for the first year but then the infamous depressions began forming. We turned the mattress every time the sheets were changed, as recommended. Hah, all that we did was switch holes by turning. I just bought a Stearns and Foster replacement, and this thing goes in the guest room, hope we don't lose friends over it! When the bed was taken into the other room it practically folded over from instability. It seems the entire inside of it collapsed to the bottom as we attempted to push this ungodly heavy piece of ****. Do NOT purchase a Simmons unless you desire a sore back, neck and hips. And sure, you will never feel your partner moving... it's hard to crawl out of the holes. I did not even attempt warranty proceedings because this thing was so hot, my husband and I both developed night sweats and made a few stains which are unremovable... and we all know what that means; null and void.
Simmons World Class mattress-do not buy by grimlin42 ,Sep 04 '06
Pros: nothing Cons: Bed will not hold up, company will not honor warranty.
I bought a top of the line (I thought) Simmons World Class. After about 6 months, I noticed soft places where I usually sleep. I am not a heavy person either. I contacted the furniture company I purchased the mattress from and they sent out a rep. who also said the mattress was breaking down. The furniture company went out of business and I was unable to get any sort of closure to the problem. I contacted Simmons and told them my problem. After weeks of argument they told me there had to be a 2inch indention and sent me a camera to take pictures for proof. They never intended to honor the warranty. I will never buy another Simmons product. Beware.
