Pros: Very smooth riding mower. Floating deck makes all the difference. Cons: Gas seems to burn faster.
When my local Simplicity dealer received their new models I was looking for a rider that could get a lot of grass cut in no time at all. Did not take me long to drop a four grand on this mower. This Simplicity Broadmoor Lawn Tractor(2003 model) ...

Great lawn tractor that is so easy to use, my kids mow every week and I barely get a chance to use it!

Great Mower
by harlank20 ,Jul 11 '04
Pros: Great cut, easy deck removal, high quality, Made in USA. Cons: Slightly Expensive.
I have an older Broadmoor (1996?) with a 14 Horsepower single-cylinder Kohler engine. The deck comes off very easy, within 1 minute. Because of the rollers across the back of the deck, it has a very even cut and leaves very visible stripes. The traction is not always the greatest on hills if you are light weight. This has been improved in the newer models with a traction control system. If I replace it, I'll either buy another Simplicity or some type of commercial mower.
