Pros: awesome, in-your-face punk Cons: very little variety
The Distillers began turning heads in 2002 with Sing Sing Death House. A far cry from the poppy punk rock dominating the mainstream, Sing Sing… provided a fast, heavy, vitriolic sound that many punk fans had been waiting for. Led ...
Pros: Fast, raw, and melodic Cons: "More punk than you" types will call them sell-outs

Brody Armstrong. Can she save us all from the collection of no talent, bouncing bimbos that clutter the mainstream music airwaves? I think so. Like a punch to the face, shes demanded the attention of punk fans, rock fans, and...
Pros: solid songs that get your heart pounding, the whole band is really talented Cons: some lacking tracks...that's it.
The Distillers are a wonderful band that I am thankful that I found. Speaking of finding them, it was hard to do. You see, I went to Yahoo and typed in girl bands or something like that and The Distillers popped up. I had heard their...
Pros: Energy evolved launching one of the most new influential punk rock groups into the world Cons: Ended in an instance
Six years ago Brody Armstrong was at deaths door, with a huge drug addiction and repeated attempts of suicide. Today she is alive and kicking, with a tremendous release of the Distillers second album. Married to Tim Armstrong (Rancid lead vocalist),...
The distillers - sing sing death house by staringblink ,Mar 26 '04
Pros: The upbeat energetic vibe. The best songs: 'Young Crazed Peeling' and 'Lordy Lordy' Cons: The Distillers are facing accusations of 'selling out', which, they are not.
The distillers have slapped this album together and it hits you like a slap in the face whilst coming up with a fantastic collection of catchy punk tunes lead by frontwoman Brody Dalle. The best song on the album i think is 'Young Crazed Peeling' as it is, i feel the Distillers at their best; Brody's talent shines through the blasting of Guitars and Drums to deliver a screaming punk record, Overall a brilliant Album.
Pros: New energy to Punk/ great band! Cons: Waited too long to buy
Being an old school punk rocker, I must say that 90% of the so called "punk rock" of today really SUCKS. The Distillers have brought new life to punk. Brody's voice is only matched by her screaming and talent. The album has a few songs that I skip when playing the album. But over all, the best punk album in years!
