Cons: Scent is hard to scrub out of your skin.

I found that the product worked very well at repelling mosquitos, but the "scent" bothered me a great deal. It is not overwhelming when you apply it, but it took 3 bathings, almost scrubbing my skin until it was raw, to rid my skin of the "scent." This is a problem when you have chemical allergic sensitivities, such as sensitivity to perfumes.

I never had this problem when using Avon's regular "Skin So Soft." The problem is with the Bug Guard Plus. I'm guessing that it maybe has more oil in it. Whatever the case, it's almost like the scent gets tatooed into your skin!

I'm going to stick with the old "Skin So Soft," which I've alway been quite happy with.

I love this stuff. My son has sensitive skin and DEET products are out, so anything in the store is not tolerated by Alex on his skin. My pediatrician suggested this product because of no DEET, and it is wonderful. Not only do I get sunscreen protection for him, the bug repellent is awesome! Not sticky, pleasant smelling, I am very pleased with this product and it really keeps the bugs off. We walk every day at a green way that is next to a big creek, so I need the bug protection. He never has had a bug bite and neither have I, since I use it also!

If you plan to travel to places like Tahiti, Hawaii, Fiji or the Caribbean, take along some Skin So Soft. It keeps those sand fleas off your legs and feet. In Tahiti, they charge US$ 12 a bottle.
