Pros: Doesn't taste awful. Cons: Rather bland and boring.
There must be some mystery hidden in this little blue bottle of Skyy Vodka that I picked up at my local liquor store. I was only able to do minimal research on this. Which for me is almost horrifying. The only thing that I was able to find was ...

Pros: Value priced; clean taste. Cons: Somewhat light weight, but makes for an excellent mixer.
Vodka sales account for as much as 25% of all spirits sold, and one of the fastest growing brands is Skyy Vodka -- currently the #9 domestic brand. This vodka was first created in 1988 by Maurice Kanbar (the founder of Skyy Spirits, San Jose, ...

Pros: A slightly sweet flavor Cons: none
When I started thinking about which liquor to review for my final spirits review for 2000, I was in a bit of a dilemma...I couldn't choose just one. So, I decided to go to the liquor store and grab whatever struck me at the time, whichever one seemed to...

Pros: Cheap, sweet, vodka. Cons: Aftertaste, makes people sick.
Once upon a time, in a college dorm hallway, my fellow banana slugs and I were sitting in a daze late one Friday evening. Suddenly, from out of nowhere – or it seemed like it was nowhere – my friend came running out of his dorm room holding a banged up...

Pros: A small dab behind the ears will create that enviable wino smell Cons: Heavy alcohol flavour, slimy mouth-feel, and more...
...and greasy 'mouthfeel.' I am so deeply disgusted by Skyy that I am borrowing a computer (the usual is problematic at present) and struggling with a crippled OS just so I can spread the word of the evil that is Skyy as soon as possible. ...

Pros: pretty blue bottle- find an empty one if you want one that bad Cons: lethal- affects you severely one-day-and-not-as-badly-the-next, smooth and deadly, hits HARD and unexpectedly
....The fine maiden turns to see an old woman holding out a frosted glass of the most alluring turquoise blue beverage.
She walks slowly toward the woman, her eyes riveted upon the pretty crystal glass bathed in sparkling blue liquid.

Pros: good price, good alone, good in a mix Cons: non significant
When people talk about vodka, we often hear stories of fraternity boys passing out and the abhorrently low life expectancy for Russian men. To some, vodka is a cheap way to get drunk. Depending on what liquor store and what section you're looking in,...

Pros: Nice bottle Cons: Medicinal aspects, harsh, lingering aftertaste, not smooth at all
It is very hard to differentiate between types of vodkas or the subtle flavors displayed by different brands. However, it is easy to tell when a vodka is very good or really bad -- it is that grey area in the middle area that is difficult to comment on....

Pros: makes great martinis Cons: lacks serious kick (or something) of other vodkas
I've been on this martini kick lately. I've always rebelled against martini's from the perspective of class conflict, and the stereotype of the snooty executives with their six-martini lunches, and the elegantly clad cocktail parties filled with polite...

Pros: One of the best available Cons: Slight harshness on the aftertaste
I'll admit that my mixed drink experience is abysmally small. I started with the Vodka and Tonic and I haven't moved off since (except for a Fireball or two, a Absolut Kurant and Chambord a few times, a Brandy Alexander... but none of the standards). I...

Pros: not objectionable. Cons: pretty average vodka at premium vodka price
The Skyy Vodka salesman was nice enough to give me a keychain, so I'm sort of sorry I don't have something nicer to say about his product. I do like good vodka, and Skyy Vodka is okay if there is nothing else around. For the money, however, there are...

Pros: Fewer impurities.
Very crisp and clean.
Excellent out of the freezer! Cons: Sometimes can be a bit pricey, but nothing compared to the inferior vodkas.
My Background: 1)Vodka drinker. Definitely not a connoisseur by any means though. 2)Chemist. I know about impurities. 3)Red blooded Patriot. I'll buy American when/where I can. A bit over the top when writing a vodka review? Ok, perhaps...but ...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Everything else
I have always been a fan of vodka, but my favorite has always been absolut. I have dabbed into Grey Goose, Three Olives, Kettle one, but have always went back to my love of absolute. After reading many of the reviews on Skyy vodka here, I was ...

Pros: Very smooth Cons: None
Skyy Vodka has a new citrus version out, and it is fabulous!! I find is especially useful for making great Vodka tonics. If you like the taste of citrus, you will love this vodka in all your favorite drinks. This vodka makes a great drink with any...

Pros: Pure, mixes well Cons: makes you a little "stomach challenged"
I bought a bottle of Skyy as a second choice recently. I normally buy Absolute but my local store was out of this fine product. Seeing Skyy as a "top shelf" vodka I thought I'd try it.
I mixed this product with various juices...
