  • Insomnia & Credit Cards Don't Mix - Smartware Bakeware

    Apr 23 '05
Pros: Easy storage, functional for some uses
Cons: Expensive, retains odors, still needs coating

Summary: I either need a prescription for some sleeping pills or cancel my credit cards, because insomnia and credit do not mix. During one my numerous trips out of town, I had a wicked case of insomnia and couldn’t find anything on TV but infomercials. I saw ...

  • Smartware Bakeware

    Aug 19 '10
Pros: Food doesn't stick and mostly easy to clean.
Cons: Stains and can be delicate with sharp knives.

Summary: This review is for a particular 16 piece set of Smartware's Bakeware that I bought a couple of years ago.  Since I couldn't find the particular set on Epinions, I decided this category would probably be the best for it. This set included a Baking ...

  • Caveat Emptor YOU BET!!!

    Dec 31 '07
Pros: Use a good quality flour spray and everything comes out just fine
Cons: washed the set to remove strange odor, the pans ALL stuck some- mats too small.

Summary: I almost fell for the damn TV ad - at one point it was on THREE different channels at the same time; I thought my remote was busted - I called their Customer Service (oxymoron - they don't care about either one and the latter is slow at best. Write down ...

  • When I bought this bakeware I said to myself is it or isn't it

    Jan 30 '06
Pros: Its a persons choice to try a new way of baking
Cons: Shop for price, not to be taken for a costly ouch to the wallet

Summary: Well I bought this bakeware and wondered will it be better to use than the metal bakeware and glass. I could not wait to make carrot cake muffins. I use the paper cups with the medal bakeware and I always burn the muffins. I guess I have to lower the ...

  • Don't waste your money! Customer service is the worst!

    Jun 18 '05
Pros: The blue is a pretty color
Cons: Everything sticks, cleaning is a nightmare, food odors transfer, too flexible.

Summary: I wish when I canceled my order I would have stuck with that decision. I ordered 3 sets (the third one was free) and be warned you will pay for S&H on each individual set you ordered at 14.95 a pop! My ordered totaled $147.90. My nightmare started ...

  • I love Smartware

    Sep 25 '06
Pros: No stick, easy clean, easy storage,
Cons: A tad expensive for some people. I bought mine at 2 different times.

Summary: This stuff is still GREAT! I made 2 pear tarts today, using 1 smartware cookie thingy and 1 Silpat. No difference at all. I have been using this stuff for 7 years. On my original order they sent the wrong color and replaced the pieces correctly and

Cons: I can't think of any cons the product is great in the kitchen.

Summary: When I saw Chef Tony, on the program I kept saying to myself,"if you use it in the oven it will melt". Then he kept talking about the Smartware-Temperflex Cookware & Bakeware and showing demonstrations in a "real kitchen" then that's when I said to

  • Smartware is a great set

    May 07 '05
Pros: The cookie mat, is great, The cookies don't stick, and come out not burned.
Cons: The only real downside is the pans are really bendable.

Summary: I have had smartware for a couple of months, and made many breads, and even coffee cake without any grease or oil. I made chicken and broccoli casserole, and peach cobbler, in the all purpose pan, and it came out totally clean. The cookie mat, is great,
