Pros: sturdy, heavy-duty treadmill Cons: costs extra to have it moved into house and/or to set up
I hate to exercise! Thats the honest truth! But, the older I get, the harder it is to keep those pounds off! And, I dont want to get so fat that my girlfriend tells me to get lost! So, about a month ago, I made up my mind to do something...
Pros: powerful, sturdy, comfortable, convenient...great buy! Cons: some may think it's a little pricey..but, for me, it's well-worth the money!
A little over a year ago, I gave birth to a lovely baby daughter! Unfortunately, however, I gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy, and I still looked pregnant after the baby was born! I hated looking at myself in the mirror! I was very...
Pros: Great fit and finish, great construction, great display. Solid, heavy, stable. Cons: Completely unacceptable product support - totally unresponsive. EXTREMELY LOUD.
I researched many treadmills and I've used many treadmills at health clubs and motels. I selected the Smooth based on their references (Prevention Mag, Runner's World, etc). I could tell from the construction details that they made a heavy-duty ...

I have done a lot of research looking for the right treadmill for my family and me. I have found out through my research that the most important factors for a good treadmill are:
stability, quietness, continuous motor horsepower, manufacturers...
I tried 3 different treadmills before deciding on this one. Smooth 9.2 offers a reliable treadmill that is relatively quiet and stable. At $1799 (the price I paid for on sale) you get a treadmill with a solid motor, limited programming options, and a de ...
Pros: Sturdy, easy to assemble, a great buy, Programs, heart rate display. MADE IN THE USA!!! Cons: a huge box. Never got the "free" mat.

Pros: Solid, Great display, large walking surface, speed & incline controls on handles. Cons: Very heavy - too heavy for one person to move
I just did my first workout on my new treadmill!! I am SO glad I upgraded to the 9.2! A great display, a place for my water bottle, remote control and it's got a cool emergency shut off switch that is a magnet.
It rocked just a little...
Pros: Good features Cons: Reliability is an issue.
I just bought a Smooth 9.2 on May 2nd. This is my second treadmill. Previously, I had an Image 10.4. It lasted seven years. Although the last six months it was getting pretty bad. So I decided to buy a new one. I looked online and Smooth kept...

Well Built Machine - Poor Electronics by jrichason ,Dec 23 '03
Pros: Well built machine. Easy assembly. Sturdy and Quiet. Cons: Electronics are pretty bad for a machine that cost 2K.
I received my 9.2P a few days ago. It went together very easy and it seems like a well-built machine. I am pretty disappointed with the electronics on it though. The programs that come with it arent laid out very good. For example, the one that is supposed to be rolling hills goes back and forth between 0 and 5 incline (doesnt hit the inclines in between . That doesnt seem too rolling to me! Also, the user defined program ability is really limited because it forces you to have ten equal lengths segments. Lastly, there isnt an ability to enter user information, like weight. That means that the calories output is meaningless. If I had known the electronics were this bad, I would have the electronics were this bad I would have spent a few more dollars and gotten a Pacemaster!
