Pros: Warranty; folds; well-made; great belt. Cons: Doesn't have Quick buttons; short handles.
I decided to get into the world of Sole after so many people asked me about their fitness equipment. The F80 Treadmill didnt disappoint me. The basics: The F80 weighs 250 pounds which is a bit heavier than the average treadmill ...
I bought the Sole F80 in January of this year (2008). Mine is the 2008 edition. I have been using it regularly since I received it. I bought it from a merchant called Mercantila for $1,404.25 (after a $20 rebate from PriceGrabber).Prior to ...
Pros: Quiet, easy to use, folds up, lifetime warranty on frame, deck, motor, list is endless Cons: none yet (2 months of use)
I am very impressed with this treadmill. I searched all over the Internet to find a perfect treadmill for my standards. I love to run and hate to do it outside. I've had it for about 2 months and have run on it at least 3 times per week (sometimes ...
Pros: work horse. large belt mp3 connection & speakers, fans great warranty Cons: Poor panel design. Handlebars are not positioned well. No "whisper deck". More like a whining baby.
I run alot. Pretty much everyday and at least 3-4 miles each run. When the weather is good, I don't mind running outside but now that winter is here and I cancelled my gym membership, I decided to get a good treadmill. My main ...
I purchased a treadmill recently because i was paying so much for my wife to have a gym membership, i figured it was a worthwhile investment. The sole F80 is a folding treadmill that is designed for home use, however I felt like it was durable enough to be in a gym. I love the treadmill! The folding design saves space in our basement, and the workout programs are awesome!
I went with the F80, which is a step up from the F60, because I like the chest strap heart monitor and the way you can customize your workout to a target rate, that was worth the extra money to me. Shipping was free, and it wasn't too difficult to set up, but if you are worried about that it might be worth paying for their "turn key" service, a service where the shipping company sets it up completely so all you have to do is turn the key.
If you are serious about getting a treadmill, and want to make a worthwhile investment, this is the one for you.
Pros: Great little machine Cons: Fans are a little loud and don't move much air
My wife and I bought this treadmill about a year ago and it is still impressive. It was a bit more than I originally planned to spend, but the performance is great.
I am not a terribly small person and running on the treadmill is comfortable. There is substantial give to the running surface.
There are only two small gripes I have about the machine. One is the responsiveness of speed changes. I run a lot of sprint-walks on the machine and it takes 15-20 seconds to adjust to the increase / decrease speeds. This is due mainly to the large flywheel which does help in normal paced running. The second issue is with the fans. They work, but they are louder than the motor of the treadmill! I bought a small box fan to provide airflow when I run so I don't have to use the fans.
The included heart monitor is a great bonus and the pre-programmed workout profiles are useful. Especially the presets for the two user types.
Overall, I recommend this to anyone and would buy it again. This is one of the most comfortable treadmills I have ever run on.
Pros: Easy to assemble. All inclusive price with shipping to your door. Solid quality and feel. Cons: No concerns. Would be good if it had a cover to keep the dust off.
I hunted around for different treadmills using mainly google and visiting Sears.
When the various adds for treadmills came out in the dailies, I initially looked at buying from Sears and looked at the bowflex and nordic trac. After selecting a model, the reviews on both were poor. In addition, the warranties were not very long.
Turning to buying online, I came across glowing reviews for both the Sole and Smooth models. Since I wanted to pay around $1500, I settled on 2 models in this ranged.
After reading dozens of reviews on both, I put together a feature by feature comparison and decided on the Sole F80. The main draw was the folding ability.
I've been using daily for almost a month (lite running) and no complaints.
Pros: quiet, features, individual led readings, quality, materials used to build it Cons: assembly instructions confusing to understand
Had this treadmill for a few weeks now and am very satisfied overall. I got it because the winter really throws me out of shape because i am not a hard core exerciser when it comes to cold weather but when it warms up i love to do alot of things outside.
I have the 2009 edition and is very quiet. Is definately quality material. Not some cheap hard plastic that you find in alot of products. Very solid metal material. Lots of cools features to play with. I like most especially is the seperated led lights that tell you about the calories, pulse, time...etc. I hate hitting buttons repeatedly to find information about my work out.
As many reviews have said all ready this is a very good treadmill. I can not stress enough on the quality that sole has in this treadmill. Now days alot of products are all about getting the product to the least price possible and in turns suffers the quality immensely. Mainly do to some very cheap hard plastic.
