We have had nothing but trouble with the Solis Palazzo. It has been back to the Baratza for repair three times and is broken again. It is on the way to the dump. Save yourself money and time.... go to a latte store, or try another brand.

Pros: Great espresso, easy to use, user friendly, great value compared to similiar brands.

I have had the Solis Palazzo three years now. Most friends purchased the much more popular Saeco Vienna for a heftier price. Virtually everyone of them has brought their machine in for servicing. I have never had a problem with this machine and more over, the espresso is much better tasting than the Saeco.
I would also like to point out that the much heavier priced Saeco has many less features. Case in point, one indicator light for three potential issues (water, coffee re-fill and full container) while the Palazzo has one for each.
Great buy...don't be fooled by the better name brands.

Because of this machine my husband and I have become tense and jittery. We cannot stop drinking the fabulous espresso the Palazzo produces. We have a housekeeper who comes in for 4 hours every two weeks and last week she stayed 7 hours.
Of course, she hit the Solis Palazzo every hour or so but she has never cleaned so well,
