Pros: --- Cons: ---
I like to believe I have my finger on the pulse on what’s new out there in the world of loud music. However, every s often, I find my little Jedi bootie amazed at how some bands slip through the cracks. In fact, some of the best bands sometimes slip...

Pros: Great Industrial rock band, original hard rock songs with a touch of "feminine" Cons: Not getting the attention it deserves
As one of my favorite genres in music, Industrial rock has a huge variety of bands in their wake. Marilyn Manson, Static X, Nine inch Nails even stretching it as far as PowerMan 5000. Because of these band, we set a standard for quite...

Pros: Excellent album of highs and lows from a musical mastermind Cons: Only 11 tracks, 8 of which are original
Snake River Conspiracy is a band that I had heard of about a year ago, when I joined their promotional street team. For a few months I lived off of a one minute clip of their first single, Vulcan. A few months later, I received promotional...

Pros: Great new music which should fit Goth lovers' taste Cons: Couldn't find it yet.
After not writing on Epinions for over one month, I definitely have to find something worthy to write about. The subject: Snake River Conspiracy. I learned about this band through a friend's recommendation. Turned out that my friend is...

Pros: Harsh industrial tempered by tinges of trip hop, film score samples, and the voice of singer Tobey Torres Cons: That this has to rely on two cover tunes (The Cure's "Lovesong" and The Smiths' "How Soon is Now?"), even though the covers are very well done.
Industrial has some serious up-and-comers in Snake River
Conspiracy. Led by the sleek singing of frontwoman of Tobey
Torres, they show themselves to have an almost Reznorian
knack for blending harsh guitars with evocative synthesizers....

Pros: Sonic Jihad is an incredible CD of ingenious sounds and vocals. Cons: The CD could be longer, but it doesn't get boring if you replay it!
Even though Sonic Jihad is the first full CD from Snake River Conspiracy, it does not hold back any punches. It is a masterpiece, surprising considering that most bands' first CD's are drab and boring because they've just started out. Every song fits...

Pros: Good for the Soul Cons: Bad listening for the 'family'
Industrial music has had some twists and turns, but this is one of the best roads it has been taken down. I started this new love affair when Snake River Conspiracy appeared on one of my shows. Thats right, a WB 'Charmed' Halloween episode. I couldn't...

Pros: makes you wanna get up and thrash Cons: have to weed through the filler to get to the good stuff
What is there to be said about a total thrashed out female leading a harder edge version of a band? Much. Tobey, the lead singer of Snake River Conspiracy has the dynamic ability to morph into "the sweet innocent girl next store" or...

Pros: An album that is almost all good songs.. Cons: none that I can think of.
A new friend of mine recommended this cd to me. He said it was kinda like a mix of Garbage and Nine Inch Nails. I liked both of those bands so I borrowed his cd. I listened to it and bought it that same weekend. It's a really great album with lots of...

Pros: The first great female vocalist i've heard. Cons: Very boring for the most part.
The first time I heard Tobey Torres scream "F*&k" on their first single, "Vulcan", I knew this was a treat. I am a highly biased music lover and cannot stand the manufactured sound that so many nu-metallers have. (ex. Kittie, Drowning Pool, Papa Roach,...

Pros: this album rocks. gotta read the entire opinion for value. Cons: at 11 songs the album just isn't long enough.
If it weren't for (pre-filter) Napster, I'd have never discovered SRC and subsequently bought the album. This band rocks. It is tragic that they aren't being played more widely. Think Nine Inch Nails meets Alanis Morissette or Fiona Apple. SRC's...

Pros: Good beat , vocals , tune , lyrics Cons: nothing
I had never heard Snake River Conspiracy until I saw them in May play at a local concert with other bands. I liked them more than I did any of the other bands, and I wanted to buy their C.D, so when the concert ended, I went to get it, but I was informed...
