    Pros: Does the important stuff on most brands, especially TVs
    Cons: Some buttons don't work -- can't record on my VCR

    Pros: reasonable size, seems to work most equipment
    Cons: misleading packaging, doesn't operate listed equipment, phone support didn't even try (either knows the listings on the package are incorrect OR does not care if the remote ever works).
