Pros: Ipod jack!! Budget price. Easy to remove faceplate. Sound quality is quite adequate. Cons: Controls are hard to use and the blue backlight display is annoying.
It was my fault. When I left my beloved 1983 Ford Ranger in a parking lot, I forgot to detach the faceplate on my Blaupunkt stereo. And the consequence for that mistake was about $400 worth of damage done by a thief who broke a window and crowbarred the ...
Pros: Aux-in, CD S/N, detachable faceplate, clear display, off button. Cons: Volume knob, small buttons, bland looks.
Background - The player came with my purchase of a used car and is several months old, therefore performance may differ a little. Setup is with aftermarket speakers, no subs, no amps. Looks - It has a nondescript look to it, nothing ...
Pros: CD-R/RW MP3 capability, AUX input, PRICE, remote Cons: Small buttons, somewhat weak FM reception.
I wanted to replace the head unit in my truck (it only had AM/FM w/tape deck) with something that was inexpensive (my budget was less than $150) but with either CD/CD-R/CD-RW/MP3 capability OR an AUX input jack on the front so I could plug in my MP3 ...
Pros: Aux-in jack for MP3 player, great sound, inexpensive, radio reception Cons: None - except who needs the remote control :)
I purchased this Sony at Circuit City in late 2005 and paid only $99. I have been absolutely please with the performance of this stereo/CD player in every way. From the design, to the features, to the sound quality and reception. This is a solid unit ...
Pros: Remote for hands off playing. Great Sound for stock system. Cons: CD sometimes skips over bumps. Wish for more EQ adjustably.
This radio came in my truck when I bought it. Great performance from this stock replacement radio. Has a built in Aux port for plugging in your MP3 player or other music player via a 3mm plug. Power output is adequate but it could be better. For ...
Pros: Functionality and appearance are very good. Front AUX port for mp3 player. Price/features. Cons: Inferior sound quality and tuner reception.
I purchased this CD player from Best Buy about a week ago for $130. I did not replace my factory speakers. Cons: 1. I found that the mid levels were just as high if not higher than my factory stereo. I blamed my factory speakers for this issue. I ...
Pros: Outstanding Sound Quality, Plays MP3, WMA & ATRAC3 on CD-R/RW. Front input jack. Cons: Bass is sub-standard without an additional active subwoofer.
I purchased the Sony XPLOD CDX-GT200 at Best Buy for around $109.00. It came to $158 after installation because of the wiring harness and adapter for my vehicle (the stuff Crutchfield gives you for free). I replaced my factory radio in my '98 Neon ...
Excellent - only one little annoyance by apschminkey ,May 22 '06
Pros: Many features, low cost. Cons: touchy volume knob.
I just bought one of these for old, old Jeep. It has everything you could want...MP3 and front aux input. For $119.00 I challenge you to find a better deal. The only thing that bugs me is that the volume knob, if pushed in, controls the functions like balance, fader, and a bunch of other things. It also has a pretty light touch so whenever I reach over to turn it up or down, I end up pushing IN on the knob and changing the balance. I've only had it for a week and I'm sure I'll get used to it....I still strongly recommend this unit.
Want something bad, buy this! by soadnirvana ,May 21 '06
Pros: Has a relatively nice looking design Cons: Poor craftsmanship, poor customer service, the list goes on.
My husband received this cd player from his mom last year, as a birthday gift. He being the typical buyer; purchased it because it featured a sleek design, and had a graphic equalizer. Soon thereafter it began to give us error codes on the LCD screen, and even voluntarily eject the cd out at us. An email to Sony customer service produced a response that instructed us to get a can of air *with the straw on it* and spray inside the cd slot. This did absolutely nothing, because a can of air is not going to solve a problem brought on by Sony's poor construction of car audio products. We got so sick in tired of it, that I purchased him another cd player. A Panasonic Mp3/WMA/CD/ etc, etc. This one seems to do better.
