Pros: 16 MB RAM, Hi-Res Color Screen, Thin, Memory Stick Expansion, Jog Dial, Stylish Cons: Build Quality Suspect, Small Buttons, Lack of Accessories, Slight Color Mismatching
I didn't intend to buy a new Palm handheld... but I got the T615c in Royal Blue for a ridiculous price of $220! Otherwise, I wouldn't have upgraded from my m505... but in many ways, I'm glad I did with a few caveats.
Pros: High Resolution, Bright Colors, Screen, Thin and Light, Sleek, jog dial. Cons: Small Buttons, Memory Stick Media, USB only, 3rd party software required for Mac.
For anyone that has ever tried to buy a handheld for multimedia purposes, especially when they're looking for a color handheld, many of the past Palm based color handhelds are flawed, because of the screen. The problem with the screen on the recently...
Pros: Sexy aluminum body; high-res color screen; 16MB RAM; low cost; all-in-one charger/HotSync cradle Cons: The buttons suck; powers on accidentally; no built-in Mac compatibility
The world of PDAs is getting crowded; not only do users have to decide whether to go with the PalmOS or a Windows based PDA, but they have to struggle with the choice of Clies vs. Palms vs. Handsprings and whether they really want a built in phone or...
Pros: Slim. Hi-res, color screen. Useful applications. Memory stick. Cons: No wireless internet. Expensive replacement stylus. Needs a better case. Memory stick.
Three years ago I was on the market looking for a handheld. My hectic college schedule began to require more than just Post-It notes and reminders written on the back of my hand. So I started to shop around and do a lot of Internet research. My choices ...
There is one simple reason why I bought the Sony PEG-T615C over the Palm colored PDAs..... Resolution. It is very hard to believe that Palm, of all PDA manufactures, is so far behind in it's screen technology. As a matter of fact, there was a recent...
Pros: weight, clarity of the screen, thin Cons: screen size, confusing support site
After using my SONY CLIE T615-C for a few months, I felt ready to place my opinion of it on epinions. This current model is an update to the Sony t610-c which had only 8MB RAM. The current model sports 16MB which for palm-based systems is close to the...
Pros: ease of use, installed applications, vibrant color, included memory, simplicity Cons: ineffective cover for the PDA
When searching for a PDA, I was initially drawn to the standard Palm Pilot, but after reading reviews of others and speaking with friends that had one - I elected to look at the Sony Clie. This is not a knock on Palm - as the Clie uses the Palm OS....
Pros: nice screen good memory plenty of applications Cons: flimsy
I am writing this review after breaking my Sony CLIE.. So it is not a hypothetical situation. Let me first start by saying that I expect Sony to be held to a higher standard due to the immensely impressive array of high quality products that they have ...
Pros: Color screen, Lots of apps, Memory stick works with other Sony devices Cons: Graffiti software sucks, can't store email on memory stick
I like my Clie, but the Palm Graffiti software sucks. Instead of recognizing my handwriting, I have to learn how to write using the Graffiti handwriting system. Why do I want to learn how to write again? The Apple Newton had handwriting recognition...
Pros: Great image quality Cons: slow mem stick & image access, Center button sucks
Great resolution but slow (refresh) graphics, Palm 505 was much faster but lower resolution. Cool design, Sony Clie software is great. I love the Clie remote control feature.
Memory stick slow to access images in Clie software. I miss my Palm 505...
Pros: price, sound, graphics, resolution, good applications Cons: thin stylist, small buttons, discontinued, non-replaceable battery, no wireless modem
Compared to my T615C, the M515 has a better feel to it, but the T615C has better sound, graphics and resolution. The background and fonts on the M515 appear grainy compared to the T615C.
The buttons on the T615C are smaller, but they have...
Pros: Great display, 16MB memory, rechargeable batteries, jog dial Cons: Loose stylus, small buttons
I bought a refurbished model directly from Sony's site for $200 and have been very happy with it. Pricewise I was unable to find a comparable PDA that could match its display and memory. I have had no software or hardware problems with it, and am very...
